Fans walk out of A R Rahman’s UK Concert

A.R.Rahman’s UK concert ’Netru, Indru, Naalai’ didn’t go down well with the local fans. Most of the crowd walked out of the concert complaining about Rahman playing Tamil songs. The music director had his roots in the Tamil Industry and branched out in to the world cinema, so It is not such a shocker to see him play a few Tamil songs.

Supposedly, Rahman played 12 Tamil songs out of the total 28. Fans took their discontent to Twitter asking for refunds of the show, while some users passed radical comments about the concert seeming like South Indian.
