Every Father Want a son Like Guna- Guna 369 Producers

Actor Kartikeya is ready to outperform in another challenging role ‘Guna’ with debut director Arjun Jandhyala in ‘Guna 369’. Malayalam beauty Anagha Maruthora is debuting into Telugu opposite Kartikeya for this film — produced by Tirumal Reddy, Anil Kadiyala under Sprint Films, Gnapika Productions & SG Movie Makers. Chaitan Bharadwaj is composing music to this film. On the occasion of the movie release on August 2nd, Producers Praveena Kadiyala, Tirumal Reddy and Anil Kadiyala spoke to media.

How did this project get started?

We had experience in doing many super hit programs and events in the television industry. We have been looking for a good subject to enter the film industry. Arjun Jandhalya approached us with a good script in such a time. It is a good story inspired by real events. 

Do you think this story was a perfect launch for you?

Yes, of course, how we evolved on the television, the same way we got into the film industry. This is a good subject and will be a perfect launch for us.

What is the title justification?

When we fixed the title Guna 369, many of them considered this film as a sequel to Aditya 369. This is not a Socio Fantasy Zoner movie. The film is based on Real Incidents, and 369 is a prisoner number. We showed this in the trailer also. A middle-class father wishes to name his son BTech under his son's name. However, everything got reversed and got the number 369 in jail. The story is all about why he goes to jail. 

Is there a particular reason for introducing a new director?

Everybody has to start a new life at some point. Arjun worked for twelve years with Boyapati Srinu in the direction department. Although he is getting introduced as a director with the film, he has 12 years of experience in the direction department.

What is the specialty of this story?

You can see yourself in this movie. For those who think that happiness will get from money, our film is an example of how happy the family to live with sufficient money and love. Every father wants a son like Guna.

What about the music director?

Music director Chaitan Bharadwaj after the film RX100 gave the music album in the same range. Yesterday Nagarjuna also praised Chaitan Bharadwaj for giving him a good album. There are six songs in our movie.

Whose choice is the heroine Anagha?

The heroine of the story should be like the girl next door and should be a good pair to Kartikeya. So the director and our hero selected the heroine.

Have you completed the censor formalities?

Recently our movie completed censor formalities with U/A certificate. The censor group also didn't recommend any cuts in the film.

Your next projects?

We listen to good stories. If we get a good story, we are ready to produce jointly. Kiran who worked with Maniratnam recently narrated me the story. We requested some changes, after that we will announce soon.
