Dulqer Salman enters Tollywood as Gemini Ganeshan

Legendary actress Savitri’s biopic ‘Mahanati’ is currently scheduling major portions in Hyderabad. Savitri went and married then Tamil superstar Gemini Ganeshan after her debut in 1953 and the couple’s last film being ‘Praptam (1971)’.

 Directed by Nag ashwin (Yevade Subramanyam), the film casts Dulqer Salman as Gemini Ganeshan which is going to be the star’s debut into Telugu film industry alongside Keerthy Suresh as Savitri. Currently, a love episode during their first film together was being shot near Gandipet.

Dulqer Salman’s regional hits like Bangalore days, Premam and Charlie were widely popular among the telugu audience and maybe this will ease his entry into Telugu celluloid.
