Don’t stray from the right path - Allu Arvind on Tollywood drug abuse

With the recent news of some Tollywood stars relating to drug abuse, The film chamber has set up a media conference on Wednesday to discuss the issue. “Some youngsters in Tollywood are indulging in drugs and are now under the police radar. They think we are unaware of these activities but now they will be warned. It may be just the 10 of them but the whole industry will be affected by their actions. We inherited this culture from Mumbai and are affecting our healthy environment. They are not only spoiling themselves but all the lives that depend on them. The authorities might not arrest them yet but are combing the sources of these drug distributors. If they don’t come out of this trance, severe actions will be taken” warned Allu Arvind, founder of Geetha Arts.

Drugs are harmful to the society, These abusers need to be aware of the consequences for their own good. The Industry is in a healthy state and It is our duty to keep it that way” Said D.Suresh Babu, Dr.Ramanaidu’s heir and head of SP Productions.
“It has been a great gesture in the industry to share each other’s problems so let’s face this issue too as no different and abolish drugs from the Industry”, Said Shivaji Raja, president of ‘MAA’.
