Doesn’t like Skinshow - Niveda Thomas

Niveda Thomas has proved herself as a good actress in Tamil and Malayalam movies and with ‘"Gentleman" she has got good remarks in Telugu cinema industry as well.  It is directed by Indraganti Mohanakrishna starring Nani. The movie was released on 17th of this month and is already a blockbuster. She spoke to reporters on this occasion.

How did you get this opportunity ?
Co-director Suresh garu has seen some of my movies and also some interviews in Tamil which he liked and referred me to Mohana Krishna. I was very impressed when Director has narrated the story and immediately accepted the offer.

Is it comfortable working with Nani ?
I felt very comfortable working with him. I personally do not have interaction with Nani but I saw all of his movies. First time I met him during the reading session. After Kamal Hassan the person I like most is Nani. In this industry, one should have guts to appreciate other actors. All the credit goes to Nani in this matter.

How’s the response for your role ?
Actually every character of this movie received a great response. From the beginning, I had confidence in Nani and Director and it became reality after the movie got released. I'm very happy with everyone’s feedback about my performance. 

Do you have any thoughts about dubbing ?
I have thought that there will be people who know Tamil and Malayalam languages on the 1st day of the sets but there were no one.  Everyone used to talk to me in Hindi and English. I like the Telugu language from the beginning and that’s why I learned it for myself but not for movies. I wanted to dub for myself which didn't happen due to my exams. Will definitely tell dubbing for my role in next movie. I have worked in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam movies and can’t divide anything based on this. We have come here to work and has to be good with all. Though language is different work is same everywhere.

What’s your opinion on skin show?
I will understand if the character suits me or not. And after that,  I will think about Director and hero. I must like the story, my role and not skin show. I don’t believe It if someone says but the movie will be hit if there is skin show. I take my own decisions. 

How is your rapport with heroine Surabhi?
I don’t have any issues with Surabhi and she became a good friend. I am missing her a lot. We both are in touch with each other though she lives in Delhi and I live in Chennai.
