Comedians turned heroes

While in the reign as a star comedian, Sunil debuted as a hero with Andala Ramudu and Maryada Ramanna and many other films followed. Vennela Kishore too starred as the main lead in Atadu Aame O Scooter, Daughter of Vama but went back to doing comedy roles. Saptagiri, who entertained greatly with his role in Prema Katha Chitram was made a hero with the film Saptagiri LLB. Satyam Rajesh who’s comedy timing was applauded in Satyam starred against actress Trisha in the film Nayaki but is still doing comedy roles.

Shot to fame with Jabardasth, comedian Shankar too is now starring in his own film as the lead, titled ‘Driver Ramudu’. The film is set to portray a different angle in Shankar’s emotional side and the first look poster of the film received a great response within a day.
