Cheliya, an intense love story in Mani Ratnam style says, Karthi

Madras Talkies presents “Cheliya” starring Karthi & Aditi Rao Hydari, directed by Mani Ratnam under Sri Venkateswara Creations.

The audio launch was held at Hyderabad.

Last year, “Ok Bangaram” was released under Dil Raju banner and has bagged a hit.

"Cheliya" will release on April 7.

A.R.Rahman said, "Mani Ratnam is my brother and dearest friend. We have travelled for 25 years in movies. I personally like Telugu songs because it's a great language.”

Karthi said, “ Cheliya is a special movie for me. I play a challenging role of fighter pilot. The training classes prepared me for role.This film is a special journey and the story revolves between two strong characters. A.R. Rahman’s music creates immense energy and to sum up, it is an intense love story in Mani Ratnam style."

Aditi said, “It’s like my dream has come true. I’m happy to be part of film and to visit my hometown."Cheliya" is my first Telugu film. It’s a memorable experience working with Mani Ratnam garu & A.R.Rahman. Karthi is my favorite star. I thank everyone for their support.”

Actress, Suhasini also expressed her view.
