Srikanth Addala who gained a good name with his debut movie "Kotha Bangaru Lokam" and then proved again with "Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu" is now directing "Brahmotsavam" after his movie" Mukunda".The movie is ready to be released on this 20.

How's your experience working with Mahesh for the second time? 

Mahesh babu is always on the top. It's great to accept a sensitive story and give a second opportunity to me. He is good at heart, he is a hero for all the directors.

What's the difference between "Seethamma Vakitlo.." and this movie? 

Stories are different. The first one is a story between two brothers of a middle-class family whereas the later is completely different as it is about a rich family with Vijayawada backdrop where four to five families live together.  

Why do you give priority to such stories? 

People are losing peace of mind because of various confusions and they won't get peace by going on a tour to places and doing something else. One will get peace only from others and I want to show this point based on a family story, I love people and when I said this point to Mahesh, he immediately accepted. 

Do you feel any pressure as this movie is being released after a blockbuster "Srimanthudu"? 

Pressure is common for any movie shooting. Working with many artists and adjusting the diet to suit everyone gave me a trouble initially. But Mahesh stood as my strength. One will definitely face problems during the shooting process but we shouldn't stop for them. 

What is the story sketch of Brahmotsavam? 

Few people together at the peak level celebrations can be called "Brahmotsavam". The fine blend of love story, family emotions sums up movie. 

Will you keep working on similar stories? 

Similar stories will bore the audience, I have many stories ready but haven't yet decided about the next genre.

To define respect and obedience towards his father, we have decided to show that poster where son helps his father who is in a hurry going to a function wearing his footwear which gained a positive response.
