Case filed against Bandla Ganesh

After a heated discussion over the disappointment over Nandi Awardees, Producer Bandla Ganesh is in the news again. But this time, for the wrong reason. City Court of Hyderabad imposed a 6-month imprisonment on Bandla Ganesh in a case of check bounce. The producer will not only have to obey the imprisonment but also have to pay an amount of 15,86,550 rupees. And in case he fails to pay the amount on time, a further 3 months of imprisonment is expected. The ruckus began while Bandla Ganesh failed to pay the agreed amount to writer Vakkantam Vamsi. Vakkantam Vamsi worked for Bandla Ganesh, for Puri Jagannath - Jr.N.T.R flick ‘Temper’.

Vakkantam Vamsi was given a post - paid cheque which bounced at the local bank. Soon, Vakkantam Vamsi has filed a complaint at the local City court. However, the case is suspended after Bandla Ganesh submitted personal bonds in the court and is currently in hearing.
