A Telugu girl, Anjali has started her career as an actress in Tollywood and gained recognition. She co-starred as heroine in with Nandamuri Balakrishna in "Dictator".

You seem to have lost weight for this movie?
Yes, after signing the film, I took a diet plan to look younger. I lost 5.5 kgs. I have to be lean as per the story's demand. To increase the weight of the character I have reduced my body weight.(Smiling)

How was it working with a senior actor like Balakrishna?
Many people warned me to be careful with him as he is very serious and disciplined actor but I experienced that he being a legendary hero & a very jovial and friendly person.

You were offered Balakrishna's "Legend" and "Lion" as well but you didn't accept. Why?
Prior to "Dictator",  I got opportunities for the movies, "Legend" and "Lion" which couldn't match and fit into my dates. I'm glad to finally do this movie.

What about Producer, Srivaas?
Our director Srivaas garu has turned into producer with this movie. So he has to behave as a director and a producer in the sets. Srivaas is a great director who knows how to handle the artists. My appearance and performance are well presented.

What is your opinion on your performance applauds in "Dictator"?
My performance in "Dictator" was applauded by everyone including Balakrishna garu and all the assistants which made me very happy.Appreciations like this bring me more satisfaction as an artist.

Which is the best movie in your career?
I don't want to make a number of movies just to increase the count. I should be recognized as a great actress for the movie "Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu". It is a milestone in my career because of the character I played in it.

Telugu girls are getting a few opportunities in Telugu industry. What do you say?

There are rumors that Telugu girls will have few opportunities in Telugu industry. Few restrictions of Telugu girls stop them from leading the industry.

What is your opinion on controversies? 
I confronted many rumors and controversies from the beginning of my career but I don't care them.The person in limelight invites more rumors is what I feel. Sometimes I enjoy these rumors.

You performed a special song in Sarrainodu. Your view?
I have performed a special song with Allu Arjun in the movie "Sarrainodu", which it is not a regular item song. I agreed for this movie as I have a small role in it.

How is your career progress?
It's a wonderful year in my career, I'm receiving a good number of offers in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam languages. I'm working in 6 movies this year and I wish my complete career is treated like 2016.
