Bahubali gave me immense satisfaction as a narrator & director says, Rajamouli

Rebel star, Prabhas, Anushka, Thammana, Ramya Krishna, Nassar have teamed up for “Bahubali 2”. It’s a K.Raghavendra Rao presentation directed by S.S.Rajamouli and produced by Sobhu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni under Arka Media Works.

It is going to release on April 28.

Interview with Rajamouli…

Are you feeling tensed for movie release?

It’s an exciting feeling while doing work but post work completion, tension starts. As work getting done now, there is some tension.

How many parts your father owe in designing the characters?

The film features grandness, fights and action sequences. All the characters are strong. It can be enjoyed. If we remember characters after watching a film, it’ll become the great film. Father has created ultimate characters and half of the credit goes to him.

Is duration pre-planned?

We didn’t expect the movie will take 5 years time. If we know, we might not have started. It wasn’t a pressure feeling as producers, actors, technicians and everyone worked together.

Did you expect a crazy curiosity behind” Why Kattappa killed Bahubali” question?

Every movie travels from characterization to story. Purposefully, we won't highlight anything. Sivagami announces Bahubali as the king and people appreciate him. Part 1 will end there. As a twist, we added Kattappa killing Bahubali scene.We are hoping that it’ll move the audience.

Are you completely satisfied with the film?

Yes, it gave me an immense satisfaction as a narrator & director. Till now, my films had a few characters. But "Bahubali" features 6 & 7 strong characters. I got a chance to showcase heroism in a pixel way. No director can deliver 100% story. Physically, a movie should be directed in a framework.

How did you feel as Bahubali is creating the sensation in overseas?

In overseas people doesn't know much about Telugu & Tamil industries.  When it comes to Indian cinema people recognize it with Shahrukh Khan movies, presently there is a rapid shift from Sharuk Khan popularity to Bahubali sensation in Indian cinema. I feel proud about it.

How was the support from producers?

Producers trusted me, then my family. They’ve worked for 24 hours. Next is Prabhas. He has boosted me a lot. Everyone was supportive.

What is your ambition as a director?

My dream of becoming a big director has already fulfilled. I didn’t think about my ambition yet. After my holiday trip, ill think.
