Baahubali 2 slumps at Japanese BO

S.S.Rajamouli’s magnum opus Baahubali which broke all the existing records of an Indian film has finally been released in the pan Asian territory. The film was recently released in Japan but the reception has shocked the makers! The film has only managed to collect a mere half a million USD in its five-week run. This is a bummer for Baahubali 2 as the figures reflect the film’s poor performance. The film was also released in Russia recently and screened across the globe including France, South Korea and the U.S as well.

For now, Amir Khan’s Dangal seems to be the only film that managed to rake in a record high profits from foreign territories as the film’s collections from China alone amount to 1200 crores
