Ardhanari is about everyone's responsibility - Shankar Chowdhary

"Ardhanari" is directed by  Bhanu Shankar Chowdhry where almost 55 new artists were introduced with this movie.It's a different genre. The audience will be impressed with story and screenplay. Though, the industry tried to show social responsibility in many movies, that aren't encouraged by the audience. "Prathigatana" and "Bharateeyudu" are the earlier examples. So director Bhanu Shankar Chowdary presented an emotional entertainer with a new concept.

Can you tell us about the movie?

Hero plays a  transgender role in this movie, hence the title signifies the same. Hijras are equally goal oriented as everyone and we have presented their good qualities.

How is your movie different from the past Hijra movies?

Yeah, we have many movies with Hijra get-ups but it is trans-gender movie. The hero will be in the transgender makeover, throughout the film. I have approached many heroes to play this role but no one is ready for the experiment. "Ardhanari" character is played by a Vijayawada boy, Arjun Yajath. His action is comparable with Kamal Hassan and Rajinikanth.

What's the concept of the movie?

The movie is based on social values and responsibilities. The audience will get connected to every scene.

When are you planning to release?

We are planning to release the movie on July 1st in more than 300 theaters.
