Anil Ravipudi, Supreme director interview

Anil Ravipudi, director who has proved himself as a hit director with his movie Patas. As his second experiment he has directed the movie supreme with Sai Dharam Tej and Raashi Khanna. This movie is ready to be released on this may 5th. On this occasion director spoke to the reporters.

Tell us about the story?
Hero is a cab driver in the movie, cab also has a important role in the movie. We felt that even the cab should have a name and we named it Supreme. Lord Hanuman travels with light speed for Lord Rama, in this movie hero travels with the same speed for someone else which is the interesting point of movie.

How is it working with Raashi?
In this movie Raashi appears as Bellam Sridevi, a police officer. First lady as a police officer is Vijayashanthi.. there is lot of gap in her role. We have decided to present that lady police role in a entertaining way.Scenes between Raashi, Raghubabu, Vennela Kishore entertains audience. Heroine's intro is also a massive action episode.

How is it working with Dil Raju?
Dil raju appreciated me after watching the first copy of Patas. Our journey began then, we are connected emotionally too. We have planned a film together, after listening to the story we have decided to choose teju as hero as he is apt for it.

Who has an impact on you?
I was born in 1980, heroes of that decade have a impact on me. I was fan of Chiranjeevi dance and songs. Few songs gave me a feeling that i should present them in my movie. One among those songs is supreme, we have remixed the song with passion and not just that it helps the movie. we have also experimented break dance with Teja which was earlier loved by everyone when Chiranjeevi danced.

Is it your idea is to remix the song?
no one match the grace moments of Radha and Chiru in the original movie. We have tried to reach 50% of it but have reached 75%.

Movie is in which genre?
In the movie hero must make a journey , every moment in the journey is thrilling, every character in the movie along with Teju strives hard for a target.1 This is a universal subject which is suitable for remix in any language. Currently people who are planning for remaking Patas are planning to remake this movie as well. Every artist in the movie played role as a integral part. Ravikishan has done wonderful action as villain. I admire Rajendra prasad so much, i have grown up watching him, jandhyala sir is a library, i keep watching his movies even now. Rajendra prasad's comedy timing is super. The complements that i receive today for my comedy timing are purely coz of Rajendra prasad and Jandhyala.

No one have witnessed a climax like this one till now. Six famous artists can be seen in climax, one must watch the movie to know them.

Planned a movie ramarao with balakrishna, but he has asked to submit the entire story by april. practically it was not possible AS I WAS OCCUPIED WITH THIS MOVIE. I WILL DEFINITELY DO ONE IN FUTURE.
