Akshara Hassan is a happy Buddhist

Kamal Hassan’s younger daughter Akshara Hassan flashed through a few films in her career along with Big B and Dhanush’s ’Shamitab’. The actress said, “Though I was an atheist as my sister Sruthi, I’m drawn towards the ideals of Buddhism and Hence I chose to take up the religion”. Sp\eaking about her career goals, she said “I want to be the best actress I could as my whole family is in the business. I’ll soon be shuffling through call sheets after I prove myself as a director”.

 The actress recently starred in Ajit’s upcoming spy - action ‘Vivegam’ (Vivekam in Telugu) which is due to release on 10th August.
