Acted in role with lot of weight : Wamiqa Gabbbi

Wamiqa Gabbi is introduced to the Telugu audience with "Bhale Manchi Roju", directed by Geethanjali Sri Raghava. She got a good name and her movie from Tamil is now being released in Telugu. Balakrishna Kola is pairing up with Wamiqa.

The movie is all set for release on March 18th. On this occasion, hero found some time to talk to the reporters.

What's the nature of your role?
This movie is a massive hit in Tamil. My performance was applauded. I am confident that it would be appreciated in Telugu as well. My character is Manoja who is a modern girl but with traditional views. It has different shades. It's a complex love story with excitement in each scene.

How did you get this opportunity?
The story is amazing. There are no unnecessary songs, romance or scenes. They are part of the story. As the director was a lady it was very easy for me to work. Used to discuss everything with her. This should actually be my first movie in Telugu. Initially, denied the offer as I am least aware of language and it would be a problem to deliver dialogues. But when they asked me to give a audition and decide based on that, i gave audition which was appreciated by Selva Raghavan sir and i accepted the role.

What's your personal interest of roles?
I'm not interested in gaining a star heroine image. I want audience to remember for my roles and performance. My role should bring fame to me. Producer took good care of me and he is so cool at sets.  My character should have importance in the movie and I should like the story only after the these i can take up the role. This movie is completely around hero and heroine.
