Tenali (Sundeep Kishan) is a small-time lawyer who is on the lookout for a big case so that he can settle down in life. As time passes by, he falls in love with another lawyer(Hansika) which is not liked by her dad(Murali Sharma).

The set up of the film is pretty interesting. Sundeep Kishan leads from the front and gives a very good performance. His comedy timing is superb and he was quite impressive in all the action sequences.

On the whole, Tenali Rama Krishna is a comedy caper aimed at the target audience of single screens. The film has an impressive first half with good comedy and twists. But the second half is let down because of jaded narration and over the top scenes

G Nageswar Reddy is in need of reinvention, if Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL is anything to go by. While the film tries very hard to flesh out a paper-thin story into something entertaining, even smart, all it manages to do is become a tale often told about a street-smart man who manages to best a clever yet evil person.

There’s a murder of a journalist near the Kurnool burj that Varalaxmi is held accountable for, that she swears she didn’t do. What follows is a tale replete with twists you can smell coming from a mile away and dank jokes about Madya Pradesh, complete with saree pulling and cross-dressing.

Sundeep Kishan and Murali Sharma do a fine job with the hand they’re dealt. They’re the only ones, apart from Sai Karthik’s BGM (even if his ill-placed songs fail to impress), that manage to make this film a bearable experience.

After playing serious roles for many years, Sundeep Kishan has played a comic role but his body language doesn’t suit this character. He has tried to perform mass moments than doing the comedy.

The film has decent technical values. Cinematography is the main asset. Sriram has presented this colourfully.

Nageshwara Reddy has included all the references of current political jargon Kodi Kathi, Grama Volunteers, political rap that bring smiles on the lips. But the whole episode of Sundeep Kishan - Varalaxmi goes on and on spoiling the proceedings further.

All in all, ‘Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL’ is a weak case that hardly wins the hearts of the audiences.

Tenali Ramakrishna (Sundeep) is a lawyer who is looking for a big case that gives him a huge name and fame. Around the same time, he comes across a case that involves a mass leader Varalakshmi (Varalakshmi) and a local gangster Naidu (Ayyappa).

When compared to his previous movies, Sundeep Kishan played an entertaining role in this movie. We can say that Sundeep Kishan has carried the movie on his shoulders with so much energy. The way he presented the role is worth appreciating. H

The movie starts off an interesting note but the director has failed to engage the audience throughout the film. The first half is very boring and most of the scenes felt a little bit in draggy. The pace of narration will test the patience of the audience.

In Kurnool city, a businesswoman Varalakshmi (Varalaxmi Sarath Kumar) with Rs 5000 crores worth of assets is facing charges of murdering a journalist. She hires a criminal Chakravarthy (Murali Sharma) to defend her.

Posani Krishna Murali is a judge in the court. When a witness starts talking about the murder case, Posani becomes restless. Because she sings, not talks. She utters every word in a rhythmic form, like a song.

‘Tenali Ramakrishna BA BL’ is another ‘case’ of Sundeep Kishan erring in judging the stories. The film is filled with old tricks, clichéd lines, Jabardasth comedy, and boring romantic thread. A farce in the name of comedy.
