Taxiwala

Rising star of Tollywood Vijay Deverakonda acts with ease as a cab driver Shiva. Vijay is able to deliver good performance even in this cowardice characterization which is contrary to his rowdy boy image. 

Taxiwala is yet another semi-horror genre film that has been a trend in last few years in Tollywood. Major advantages with this genre are limited budget, crisp runtimes.

Taxiwala is a one-time watch for Vijay Deverakonda fans and/or semi-horror genre audience. It entertains adequately, engaging narration tilll mid second half.

Vijay Devarakonda as Siva Kumar is superb. He brings in a lot of believability and relatable feeling to the character with his body language and diction. 

Music by Jakes Bejoy is superb and he did a fantastic job in creating background score.

Taxiwala is a story of a science experiment involving death and souls gone wrong due to the bad forces. Director and writer Rahul Sankrityan has done a fantastic job in handling this movie as its plot is very experimental.

తమిళ సంగీత దర్శకుడు జేక్స్ బిజోయ్ అందించిన మ్యూజిక్ ఈ చిత్రానికి హైలైట్‌గా నిలిచింది. ముఖ్యంగా ‘మాటే వినదుగా’ సాంగ్‌తో మెస్మైరైజ్ చేశాడు.

హార్రర్ థ్రిల్లర్.. ఎప్పటికీ ఔట్ డేట్ అయిపోయి జానర్. కాకపోతే గత దశాబ్దంలో ‘హార్రర్ థ్రిల్లర్’లో ‘థ్రిల్లర్’ తీసేసి ‘కామెడీ’ చేర్చి బాగా అరగదీసేశారు.

విజయ్ దేవరకొండ మరోసారి మెప్పించాడు. ‘అర్జున్ రెడ్డి’ తర్వాత ‘గీత గోవిందం’లో మాదిరే.. ‘సాధారణమైన’ పాత్రలో అతను సులువుగా ఒదిగిపోయాడు.

Vijay Deverakonda is the main pillar of strength behind this film. He delivered an amazing performance in the film. 

The plot entirely revolves around Vijay Devarakonda and the ghost in the car. The intriguing plot of the movie is one of the major highlights. 

Director Rahul Sankrityan has chosen an intriguing script. He has not only added the commercial elements but also added supernatural elements to make the movie even more intriguing. 

Fun, Thrilling and Emotional Ride!

Vijay Deverakonda plays a simpleton Shiva who is relatable and lovable too. He carries off the role without any starry attractions despite his rising popularity. 

Rahul Sankrityan picks up a strong storyline and sticks to its strengths. He makes sure to sprinkle good doses of humor.

సాఫీ ప్రయాణమే!

హారర్‌ కామెడీ అనగానే చీప్‌ హ్యూమర్‌కి, చీప్‌ థ్రిల్స్‌కి లొంగిపోయి క్యాష్‌ చేసుకుంటోన్న టైమ్‌లో ఇలా కథకి కట్టుబడి సన్నివేశానుసారంగా అవసరమైనంత మేరకే అన్నిటినీ పరిమితం చేసి మెప్పిస్తాడు. 

విజయ్‌ తోడుగా వుండే పాత్రల్లో మధునందన్‌, విష్ణు తమ సిట్యువేషనల్‌ హ్యూమర్‌తో అలరించారు. తక్కువ బడ్జెట్‌లో రూపొందిన సినిమా అయినా కానీ విజువల్‌గా క్వాలిటీ మెయింటైన్‌ చేయడంలో సినిమాటోగ్రాఫర్‌ పనితనం హైలైట్‌ అవుతుంది.

Neat Ride

Vijay Deverakonda looks quite charming and holds the film in the first half with his acting. He doesn’t have much role in the second half except in the climax.

The film is shot in limited budget, in limited locations. Still, it has neat cinematography, and adequate production values.
