Great Andhra

Suriya Roars!

There are no major twists and turns in the screenplay. This has made the movie seem lengthy. Despite typical Tamil style comedy track, it is Suriya who makes the movie interesting. As said earlier, director Hari’s grip in handling action episodes with high technical strength and extracting best output from heroes has helped this movie too. After "Yamudu", Suriya has shown high energy now. All in all, "Singam 3" works due to never-a-dull-moment in the second half, Surya's excellent and fab performance and Hari's racy narration. This is paisa vasool for Singam lovers.

Only for action lovers

When you talk about the Singham series, you instantly get reminded of Suriya’s rocking cop avatar and action packed fights. Well, Singham 3 has all of this but there is nothing novel or special to rave about. The story, concept, and execution are the same as previous parts but Suriya once again holds Singham 3 with his superb performance. The action entertainer will mostly be liked by the masses and hardcore action movie lovers. So, go in well prepared as there is nothing much that you have not seen before.

Singam 3 will definitely appeal to the fans of the franchise. Like the previous two outings, S3 also goes a bit overboard in terms of heroism. It is not as good as the first part of the franchise, but has its own merits to please the fans. First half of the film seemed pointless as the script doesn't offer anything new or exciting.

Relying on Suriya

Suriya's fans could put up with the hardcore action. For all its raciness, the screenplay lacks a gripping quality. The run-time gets on the nerves, the loudness could have been safely avoided, the songs could have been better. The less said about the non-native comedy, the better.

Full commercial and action cinema

Yamudu was a blockbuster which had given makers a chance to explore something out of that again for makers and they made Yamudu 2 which was a commercial success and the makers now came with Yamudu 3. This part is nothing less than the previous parts in action and logicless scenes. Everything we see in Yamudu 3 is seen by us some other movie and it offers nothing in terms of new content but Surya made it watchable with his action and body language. Director Hari who was criticized for Yamudu 2 seems to have learnt something out of it and written a pretty gripping screenplay for this part and failed to handle the comedy sequences which hinders the flow of the movie. There is absolutely no evidence of him taking care of logics and music is the biggest drawback for this part. This part is definitely better than the previous one in terms of screenplay. To summarise, watch this Yamudu 3 for the full commercial and action cinema.
