Damn Slow And Boring

Entire first half tests our patience as the movie drives with pointless sequences. The comedy shot on Prabhas Seenu is hilarious in some scenes but it doesn’t add up in real way in totality.

Lacks Thrilling Stuff!

Twists & Turns in the story were quite interesting. Even the game played by Protagonist to make Villains pay the price has been executed well. The way Climax was designed looks very much apt. All said, 'Shourya' doesn't give a good feeling for the audience because of the flaws in the Narration.

Shourya – Twisting Tale

On the whole, given the pre-release buzz and expectations, Shourya ends up as a slight let down. Although, the twists and turns in the second half make a compelling movie, the first half falls flat and leaves a lot to be desired. Overall, Shourya might be an okay option if you have nothing else to do this weekend.

Sleep inducing Thriller

Shourya could have been a very good thriller as the plot is interesting. It takes a nosedive because of poor screenplay. In the end we only wish the movie is as interesting as its trailer.

Suspenseful, but inconsistent

A thriller with good potential rendered blunt by a maker whose creativity is rooted too much in Telugu nativity.

Intelligent, yet slow 'Shourya'

Shourya is an intelligent script that is marred by few unneeded elements. For such thrilling stories, there should be racy screenplay like in Kshanam and Express Raja. That's where Dasarth took the yorkers and failed to through the bouncers. On a whole it looks like him trying all bookish shots on a flat track, though there are fours and sixes occasionally.

Slow paced thriller

First half of the movie is quite slow. When the movie enters flashback mode it becomes more slow. Sharpness in the screenplay is missing. Love track between Manchu Manoj and Regina Cassandra is shown in a very regular and formulaic way. Twists in the second half forms the crux of the story. To sum up, Shourya is a slow paced thriller.

Shourya is a bit damp

Shourya is a film that promises a good plot but falters due to its execution. Dasarath must be appreciated for diving into something new but he faltered in the other departments of filmmaking — especially the screenplay. There are no thrills in this film until the last half hour.

Engaging revenge story

Shourya runs on the premise that every situation is perceived differently from different points of views. What is apparent might not be the truth. Shourya is one of those movies you stop at while swapping channels on a weekday when there's nothing else to watch on TV.
