Shamanthakamani – Stars make it interesting

Shamanthakamani surely lives up to its expectations of a popcorn multi-starrer. Even though the plot is quite simple, the presence of rising stars makes things entertaining. All the heroes should surely be appreciated for accepting the film as more stories and different genres will come up if actors leave their egos and join hands. Finally, if you ignore the slightly dull first half and predictable story line, Shamanthakamani has okay entertainment and makes up for a fun watch this weekend.

Bumpy Ride

Except for the ending Shamanthakamani doesn't give a satisfactory feeling at any point of time. It is a very lame script with good setting and casting. Films like these have limited appeal and it will be hard to please the genre fans with such lackluster script.

Fun Ride Half Way

There is not much story to tell. But we also get the feeling that the director hasn't used enough comedy as the script provides lots of scope for it. Another deterrent is the tacky first half. All in all, this thriller comedy works due to its fun elements in the second half and the performances of the lead actors. In short, a time-pass movie that doesn't have nothing much to rave about or criticize.

Entertaining Thriller

Making thrillers in Telugu is not an easy job. Director Sriram Adittya has attempted a clean thriller by roping 4 heroes in and giving them apt characters. Any thriller comes with a hiccup of being slow at first. The movie becomes interesting as soon as storyteller starts connecting dots in second half. Climax of the film is very good. On a whole, Shamanthakamani is an authentic thriller that entertains. You may watch it!

Partly Good & Partly Bad!

First Half of 'Shamanthakamani' is disappointing. The actual story begins in Second Half. Director maintained the suspense with a good Screenplay & thrills the audience the climax. Twists & Turns in the latter half are impressive. However, Lack of enough entertainment & emotional quotient are the biggest drawbacks. Overall, 'Shamanthakamani' is a decent crime comedy!
