More Action, Less Romance

Although “Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo” is not an excellent film like “Ye Maaya Chesave” or as gripping as “Raghavan”, this is different movie within commercial format. The romantic scenes in the beginning seem very repetitive but the later portion is what makes the difference. All in all, different visual style, and thriller mode of narration coupled with A R Rehman’s techno music makes the movie far from the regular stuff.

Anything for love

Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo is a mix of three genre - romance, action and suspense. First half of the film is nice with characters introduction, romance and a suspense-oriented interval episode. Second half is tedious with continuous and lengthy action episodes (though shot stylishly). The end is good. Plus points are Naga Chaitanya, songs, and romance. On the flip side, excessive action episodes and slow narration make an impact on the outcome. SSS is definitely a different format film and we need to see how audiences take it!

Only for the Romantic Track!

Gautham Menon has got a style of his own. He is someone who is very good at making out-and-out love stories or action subjects. For the first time, He blended romance and action to make a film like 'Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo'. Gautham comes out with flying colors once again while handling the romantic track. He, however, wasn't at his best after shifting to the serious mode from Interval Bang. Overall, 'Saahasam Swasaga Saagipo' is a different attempt and movie buffs could surely give it a try.

Action filled romance

On the whole, Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo has some very interesting moments throughout and will impress the younger generation. But the lack luster and silly climax can disappoint many. However, this film ends up as an okay watch only because of Naga Chaitanya who gives a superb performance and holds the film together.

A bumpy but engaging ride

Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo is an intelligent mix of various genres. It starts off as a romance/musical and turns into an action thriller. The mystery element keeps you hooked till the end. Gautham Menon decided to keep the second half taut without any songs and narrated the love story with so many songs. Slow pace and classy narration may not appeal to the masses, but the urban audience may give it a shot.

Daring the desperadoes

A shoot-out drama and a love story, 'SSS' comes with a narration that makes for a good watch. It may not be gripping in the same degree throughout, but the believable stunts, characterizations, and the technical departments ensure you are not bored.

Finally one should have Saahasam ( bravery ) to see this film

Unlike his other films, "Saahasam swaasagaa.." starts slowly and dosent take off at all. Using off all the songs in first half in bits and pieces is a big set back to the film. complete first half is dedicated to the love track and most of the scenes remind you of one or the other of his earlier films. The interval bang shows some signs of excitement which doesn't carry on later. The connect between first half and second half is lost some where which gives a feel that we are seeing 2 films on both sides.

Show of Naga Chaitanya’s Action Shade

Gautam Vasudev Menon comes out of his comfort zone and made this film more commercial compared to his previous movies. He has chosen a fresh way of narration which appeal only to youth. He has shown Naga Chaitanya Akkineni in best way possible and shown something which he did not do for a long time. To summarise, this movie is a show of Naga Chaitanya’s action shade!

A perfect mixture of romance and action

On the flipside, the first half is a bit of a drag and the climax is not very impressive. However, Sahasam Swasaga Sagipo is an interesting film that will appeal to the youth. If you have liked Gautham Menon’s earlier films, you will definitely like this one too.

Naga Chaitanya pumps up love-thrill combo

Naga Chaitanya and Manjima breathe life into their characters. The actor and director attempt to recreate the magic of Ye Maya Chesave and almost succeed. The contrast between the two is also striking — a composed Leela, a romantic first half that meets a violent second half via a memorable song is something only Menon could have captured so well.

A movie you should watch for the feels

If you can survive an unusual narrative for a plot that will unfold only at the climax, Saahasam… could be a good pick. The story in itself is good, and the direction, cinematography and music add a great deal to it. It’s a movie you should watch for the feels.
