Routine Radha Krishna

If a regular story is wrapped with entertainment with a star who hasn't done such similar stories earlier, it may seem okay. "Radha" has many okay moments but it doesn't go beyond that, which is a major issue. Regular storyline, weak narration, routine romantic thread outweighs the positives of Sharwanand's performance and comedy. So, all in all, the movie ends up as a regular masala movie with a dose of comedy. Sharwanand is main highlight in this whole fare.

Radha Review:

During the first half, director Chandra Mohan, who debuted with this film, has gone by the book to establish the characters; focusing on the love story and working on the comedy scenes. The story however, is very run-of-the-mill and predictable.

But it’s the film’s second half that comes to its rescue. The narration is quick and interesting as it deals with how the hero tricks the bad guys into confessing their crimes. The movie, which is made as a tribute to police, stands on point with its motto.

The hero is backed by the police department to teach a lesson to the politician who kills cops to his advantage. Sharwanand looked well-groomed and maintained a sleek look throughout the movie unlike his previous ones.

Funny Cop - Routine Substance!

First Half of 'Radha' is entertaining. Film takes a serious turn in the Interval but there is hardly any novelty in this crucial sequence. If not for the routine screenplay in Second Half, This Sharwanand-starrer would have been a commercial hit. Even reduction of Comedy Dose in the latter half worked against the movie. Overall, 'Radha' can be watched once if you doesn't bother about story, screenplay & logics.

Predictable but fun

Overall, Radha is one film which has only been made to showcase Sharwa in a mass and commercial angle. While Sharwa passes the test with full marks, the film ends up as a routine and predictable watch for most of the time. There is nothing new that you will see in this film but as Sharwa has become quite popular of late, this film will bring in decent crowds because of its trademark fun and commercial elements.

Funny Da..!

Radha is a typical commercial film in which the director's sole aim is to offer entertainment to the audience. Chandra Mohan succeeds in giving enough enjoyable moments, but there is nothing to take home. You will forget everything once you are out of the cinemas. Radha is a perfect popcorn flick where nothing has to be taken seriously. It may disappoint a section of audience, but people who don't mind watching routine stuff until it is entertaining will give it the thumbs up.

Formula rules

A formulaic cop story, the comedy could work for a section of audience. The villain's character is the Achilles' Heel. Traces of some films are palpable. At least the climax could have had some gravitas.

Boring and disappointing film

Radha is the film of Radha Krishna and Radha and their relationship. Story of the film has nothing new in terms of content to rave or excite about. Sharwanand who is making noise with successful films has now disappointed with his choice of Radha when compared with his previous films. Radha Krishna’s character is given life by hero Sharwanand and his energy levels for the character is appreciable. He is turning into a better actor day by day and his choice for this movie might disappoint but not his acting capabilities for the roles he choose. Makers could have taken better care in penning a better and interesting script to match the level of expectations. Except for few comedy sequences there is nothing in the movie to watch out for. Director Chandra Mohan who is debuting as director has dealt with the movie in unimpressive way and he failed to use Sharwanand to make this Radha a successful one. Considering the short run time of the movie, this movie seemed boring and in fact some comedy sequences are well conceived to tickle audience. To sum up, Radha is a disappointing film from Sharwanand.

It’s predictable, but passable '

Radha' has nothing new to offer but it is entertaining. Though the screenplay is bad and the story predictable, the director is aiming for a commercial success, and Sharwanand doesn't disappoint as he entertains you.
