This Horse Is Worth Betting On

The film lacks pace at some places, but the pace picks up during the climax and Brahmanandam’s entry turns out to be a trump card for Race Gurram. In all, for those looking out for a summer entertainer, Race Gurram is the perfect movie.

Kill Bill Pandey

Initial half of the first half is entertaining. Interval fight is pretty heavy. Second half is neatly done. The last 20 minutes of the film which features Brahmanandam gives a high. Plus points of the movie are Allu Arjun, Brahmanandam, Cinematography, second half screenplay, all round orientation and production values. On a whole, Race Gurram with it’s allround commercial elements should do well at box office! And watch out for Brahmi as ‘kill bill pandey’!

"Race Gurram" Is Time Pass Treat

As a story Race Gurram will not give kick but the comedy-liners and Bunny’s energy set the screenplay racing. But the graph goes down for a while with story going nowhere and the unexpected interval bang though heavily masala mixed stuns for a while. Second half is quick with less comedy and more action sentiment as the story unfolds. But unexpectedly the movie takes a big comic turn with Brahmi’s entry leading to climax a little weak climax but still an enjoyable one.

Despite the bunch of drawbacks, what makes the viewer hooked to the seats is Allu Arjun’s strong screen presence coupled with Surender’s stylish execution.
