Prati Roju Pandaage trailers summarize the theme pretty much , its all about loneliness of the ageing parents . It showcases how often opportunistic family members try to skip visiting elders even at death stage.

Story wise it has little to no depth , whatever the point we have been told when entered the theater , same will be continued till the end.. However as said comedy makes you forget about that flaw.

Prati Roju Pandage is a family entertainer for this Christamas – New year season. It has comedy as it’s USP , however one needs to bear the forced sentiments and preaching in parts from second half.

Satyaraj is a 75 year old man who is diagnosed with lung cancer and is in his last stage of life. He informs this to his family and his grandson, Sai(Sai Tej) takes lead and comes down to India and promises Satyaraj that he will make him spend the last few days with his family in peace.

The story line of the film is water thin and it resembles some few old films. Maruthi has given his own treatment and has narrated it in an entertaining manner at regular intervals. But in all this, he left out key emotions and made the film silly many times.

On the whole, Pratiroju Pandage is a typical family drama that has a predictable story and decent fun. A hurried up climax and lack of gripping emotional drama takes the film down a bit.

Sai Dharam Tej's energetic performance is the major highlight of the film. His entertaining character will be the major driving factor behind the film. His performance in the movie is superb and will definitely get some extra brownie points for this film.

Maruthi took a simple and routine story for this movie but has succeeded in engaging the audience with his narration. The director has succeeded in engaging the audience throughout the film and will give a fun ride for the audience.

Despite having a serious plotline, the director made the movie as entertaining as possible. The entire first half is entertaining and all the comedy scenes worked out really well for the film.

Sai Dharam Tej is apt in a family hero role, and his character starts off as a fun-loving youth to transcend to a family-supporting, emotional role. 

SS Thaman delivers a lovely background score which is soothing, and of the songs, the title song, You are my high, Oo Baava and Chinnataname are good.

Sai Tej and Maruthi score a decent success with this fun family flick

 ఈ కాన్సెప్ట్ ను తీసుకుని దర్శకుడు మారుతి చాలా పెద్ద రిస్క్ చేసారు. చావుతో పరిహాసం ఆడడం అంటే అంత సులువు కాదు, జనాలు హర్ట్ అయ్యే ప్రమాదం వుంది. కత్తిమీద సాములాంటి వ్యవహారం. చూసే నాన్నలు హ్యాపీ కావడంతో పాటు, కొడుకులు హర్ట్ కాకూడదు.

అదే విధంగా సినిమాను కాస్త గాభరా గాభరాగా తీసినట్లు అనిపిస్తుంది. మామూలు ఫన్ సీన్లలో మారుతికి అలవాటైన వ్యవహారం కనుక చకచకా వెళ్లిపోయింది. కానీ ఎమోషన్ సీన్లు అలా కాదు. వాటిని శిల్పం చెక్కినట్లు చెక్కాలి.

ఇలాంటి సినిమాలో ఎవ్వరికీ సరైన నిడివి పాత్ర లేదు. అదో చిత్రం. సత్యరాజ్ ది కీలకపాత్ర. అలా అని అద్భుతమైన నవరసాలు జాలువారవు. మనవడిగా హీరో పాత్ర కీలకం. కానీ డీసెంట్ గా ఎంత వరకు వుండాలో అంత వరకే వుంటుంది.
