Paisa Vasool works only because of Nandamuri Balakrishna and his energetic performance. After a long gap, you get to see him in a mass avatar and his fans will surely love Teda Singh’s character. Puri has managed to design Balayya’s role typically for fans as the star hero mouths Puri style trade mark dialogues and punch lines which are quite superb.

Paisa Vasool is clearly made to please Balayya’s fans. They will just love him in a massy avatar after a very long time.

'Paisa Vasool' is a one man show of Balakrishna. As expected, Balayya appeared in a never-seen-before role. Fans will go crazy with his attitude, dialogue delivery and mannerisms. Nandamuri Hero molded himself pretty well to suit Puri's Style.

Balayya gives hardly any scope for viewers to think about the story. Such is the impact he creates as Theda Singh. Balayya's Attitude & Mannerisms, Dialogues penned by Puri are spot on. Not just Fans, Even General Audience will be enjoying these portions.

“Paisa Vasool” doesn’t waste time getting to a point. Very early the plot is revealed that he is acting as Theda Singh on a purpose, he comes to Hyderabad for a mission and he has a backstory. Enough hints are given for this.

As a director, Puri has not changed at all, he is completely hinging on the star power of his heroes and not writing anything interesting recently. He has made this film to appease Balakrishna than the general audiences, as there is no coherence in the dialogues that Balayya utters in the movie.

Balakrishna's character is targeted at masses, but he has been presented in a stylish way. Puri Jagan is known for giving a stylish makeover to his heroes. Balakrishna looks extremely handsome in those stylish outfits. His body language and performance are different from his usual style. His energy in dances and entertaining dialogues will please fans.

The first half of the film is passable to an extent with Balakrishna's entertaining antics, but the second half is a total misfire. None of the plot twists clicked leaving the film flat and dull throughout. The film has generated enough buzz to get a decent opening. However, like most of Puri's recent films, Paisa Vasool may not take much time to run out of steam at the box office. It's high time you hire a writer sir!

Nandamuri Balakrishna steals the show with his performance. His characterization, The way he uttered powerful dialogues are a treat to watch for fans. He is too good in action sequences. His mannerism makes fans go crazy.

Puri Jagannadh is not learning lessons from past debacles. Though he is penning powerful dialogues, he is not trying to write unique or engaging stories. Moreover, Paisa Vasool has shades of few Puri old movies such as Pokiri.

Balayya was seemingly enticed by Puri's dialogues. Since he doesn't watch others' movies, he couldn't have been expected to know that the pre-climax twist bears an unmistakable resemblance to one of Mahesh Babu's biggest blockbusters.

Others, barring Dr. Srikanth, deliver forgettable performances. Anup Rubens' music passes muster.MukeshG's cinematography is sub-par.

More than a one-man show, 'Paisaa Vasool' is better described as a one-mouth show. In a long time perhaps, no other male lead got to spoke these many lines. The story itself plays a second fiddle to punch lines. 'Following unnavadni, follow avtana?', so goes one line. 'Image blur aindi. Aina sare.. Neeku, nee blur ku kooda paguluddi', the man says in the film's millionth action sequence. By the way, a fight every 10 minutes is visited upon the unsuspecting audience.
