Sharwand has shown top class performance as Surya. There are numerous scenes in which he showcases humor, love and pathos brilliantly. Sai Pallavi equally matches Sharwa with her talent. Especially in memory loss scenes, hiding her love towards Surya she is good.

Padi padi leche manasu starts off in a pleasant manner. It goes on sensibly with breezy songs until interval.

Padi Padi Leche Manasu is a good attempt which has gone wrong due to the poor conflict point and boring second half.

Sharwanand looked extremely handsome. He sported a different look in this movie and looked nice. He is lovable in his role and the way he has lived that character is simply superb.

The production values by SLV Cinemas are super rich. The entire movie runs in the backdrop of Kolkata and it is an absolute delight to watch the chemistry between them.

Director Hanu Raghavapudi has penned an interesting and engaging story for the film. He has once again proved that he has a unique style in handling love stories and he never fails to grab the attention with the chemistry between the lead pair in his movies.

The setting of the love story is perfect as the Kolkata visuals add a good depth to the proceedings. Sharwa is quite lovable as Surya and showcases good depth in his performance

One of the biggest drawbacks of the film is that it is very slow and takes a lot of time to come to its conflict point.

On the whole, Padi Padi Leche Manasu has a very good first half and becomes dull in the second.

Watch It For First Half!

Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi breathed life into their characters. Literally, They had competed with each other so well to an extent that nobody could pick who is the best among them.

'Padi Padi Leche Manasu' is technically sound. Music composed by Vishal Chandrasekhar is haunting. While the Songs topped the charts, Background Score generated the right kind of feel required for a love story.

Hanu Raghavapudi is admired for the classic touch he offers to the love stories. He has got a unique way of designing the romantic track, at times reminds the good old films of Mani Ratnam.

The backdrop is a classic one, it's a fit-for-nothing guy Surya and the girl Vaishali's a reasonably smart medical student. This is Kolkata in its monsoons and love is about to blossom.

The film doesn't have well-written characters beyond the lead protagonists and really feels the absence of a strong sub-plot.

Despite all these crests and troughs in the story, if you end up investing in the emotions of the lead characters, it's because of Sharwanand and Sai Pallavi's supreme performances.

Sharwanad is convincing in this youngster’s role though he lacks the same zeal in some places.

Sai Pallavi is the pillar of the movie. She is quite natural. Her acting and her screen presence lifts the sequences even when nothing much happens.

Music by Vishal Chandrasekhar is biggest plus to this romantic drama. The title song, the ‘Kallolalam’ song and other numbers are effective on the screen as well.

Sai Pallavi and Sharwanand are actors who can sink their teeth into solid roles and ensure we have a good time at the movies. When it comes to romance, writer-director Hanu Raghavapudi can paint an absorbing tale.

The music and Kolkata salvage the proceedings initially. Later when it shifts to Nepal and things go awry, with the lead characters further adding to the confusion with their own insecurities and playing hide and seek, it marks the downslide of the film.

Hanu Raghavapudi is capable of much better stories. While he gets the best out of his technical team and his lead actors, the plot is a huge letdown.

Rise and Fall of Romance!

Sharwanand is charming and extremely likeable as Surya. His energy and the comedy timing keep the audience invested in his love story. Sai Pallavi gets a role where she could do justice to the 'best actress' tag.

Hanu Raghavapudi is a fine writer and good technician. He uses his skills to make it a refreshing romance until the intermission point, but loses grip over the narrative in the second half.

Sharwanand is terrific as a happy-go-lucky youngster and a passionate lover. He matches the charm of Sai Pallavi. Sai Pallavi makes her charishma work again with natural portrayal of a girl who is conflicted at heart. Sampath Raj is convincing in a key role.

Cinematography by Jay Kay is excellent and his framing is good. Music by Vishal Chandrasekhar is an asset and all songs are good on screen too.

First half of the film has fresh and breezy romance with Kolkota backdrop.
