Parallel Life is Interesting

One of the major plus points of the film is its fresh and unique concept. Director VI Anand should be appreciated for introducing this genre to Telugu cinema. Acting wise, Allu Sirish has improved a lot and did a pretty decent job in his role. Heroine Surbhi is perfect in her given role and impresses with her cute looks. Yet another lead pair, Srinivas Avasarala and Seerat Kapoor’s onscreen chemistry is good. 

Okka Kshanma is a concept based thriller which has some interesting moments throughout. If you ignore the slightly slower pace and a typical climax, this film has some thrilling elements and makes for an interesting watch this weekend. Go for it.

Average attempt

Allu Sireesh has done a fine job in the role of Jeeva. He could have been much expressive to make his performance much better. Surabhi is good as Jyotshna and she is beautiful.  First half of the movie fails to engage audience and the second half is saved by mystery elements.

Screenplay could have been well written to make it another blockbuster. To sum up, Okka Kshanam is an average attempt.

The film impresses

Allu Sirish is seen in the role of Jeevan. The role is a bit different from what Sirish has played in the past. Srinivas Avasarala is impressive in the role he played and Seerat Kapoor is also nice as Swathi.  There are a lot of engaging episodes in the film which reveals the talent of VI Anand.

The parallel life concept is very new for us and the director was successful in explaining it to us. With some neat performances and decent execution, the film impresses.

Good Concept

Allu Sirish has improved as an actor marginally compared to his earlier movies.Surabhi is beautiful and gets a meaty role. Camerawork and production values are pretty good.

"Okka Kshanam" doesn't work in totality though it has an interesting concept and gripping moments in the middle.Experienced lead actors would have made a lot of difference to this concept based thriller.

 ఒక సగం బోరింగ్.. ఇంకో సగం థ్రిల్లింగ్!

ప్యారలల్ లైఫ్ అనే కాన్సెప్ట్ కచ్చితంగా ప్రేక్షకుల్ని థ్రిల్ చేస్తుంది. ఆ కాన్సెప్ట్ మాత్రమే కాదు.. దాన్ని దాటి ఆసక్తికర మలుపులతో కథను తీర్చిదిద్దాడు ఆనంద్. అల్లు శిరీష్ ఓకే అనిపిస్తాడు. ‘శ్రీరస్తు శుభమస్తు’ తరహాలోనే తన పాత్రను క్యాజువల్ గా చేసుకెళ్లే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. 

ద్వితీయార్ధంలో ఉత్కంఠ రేకెత్తించే సన్నివేశాల్లో మణిశర్మ పనితనం కనిపిస్తుంది. శ్యామ్ కె.నాయుడు ఛాయాగ్రహణం బాగుంది.  ఓవరాల్ గా ఆనంద్ ఓకే అనిపిస్తాడు కానీ.. గత సినిమా తర్వాత అతడి మీద పెట్టుకున్న అంచనాల్ని మాత్రం అందుకోలేకపోయాడు.

Worth your time

It is yet another impressive film from the director who will surely grab the attention of movie lovers. Mani Sharma's background score is very good and elevates the mood of the film. Cinematography by Sam K Naidu is particularly impressive in the second half. 

Okka Kshanam isn't a perfect film, but has a very interesting premise and an engaging second half that is worth a watch.

A big thumbs up

There’s something about how the film is written and narrated in the second half that it feels like you’ve stepped into a different thrill ride in an amusement park. For Allu Sirish, Okka Kshanam marks the beginning of a new phase in his career.

Okka Kshanam not just wins your over in the end, but also leaves a solid impression that you can’t just write off the storyteller in Vi Anand. A big thumbs up to Okka Kshanam.

Hitchcockish Thriller!

Allu Sirish is evolving from movie to movie. He has chosen a content oriented film this time and added a bit of heroism to his characterization. Surbhi looks nice with a mature look in this film.Story of the film has an interesting concept of parallel life. What makes this film interesting is the screenplay.

On a whole, Okka Kshanam is a decent thriller with nice screenplay! You may watch it if you like thrillers!
