Nene Raju Nene Mantri

The story of a Jogendra who first becomes sarpanch to take revenge on the person who insulted his wife and then turns into an obsessive power seeker is narrated beautifully in the first half. The moment you think that he has come into the form, all goes bunkum. Overall, the political thriller doesn’t work much despite fairly good start and turns into a boring affair.

First half of the film is good. Second half slows down. Plus points are Rana, characterization of Jogendra and dialogues. On a whole, Nene Raju Nene Mantri is a political drama that’s partly entertaining if you ignore logic.

Nene Raju Nene Mantri is a new attempt from Director Teja. Rana's superb performance as Jogendra, Few Hero-elevation Scenes & Terrific Dialogues keep the proceedings interesting. Weak Villainy & lack of any challenges to the Hero proved costly. Last 20 Minutes of the movie reduced the good impact created in the First Half

You will surely enjoy this hard-hitting drama if you leave the logics aside. The film offers a bit of everything to a wide range of audiences. Overseas audiences who encourage different movies will surely connect with NRNM.

There is lot of potential in the subject but the script is so half baked that even Rana's charismatic show couldn't save it after a point. Barring Rana's flawless performance and a few moments during Jogendra's rise to power, NRNM disappoints.

Watch the movie if you love the mush because Jogendra and Radha remain the core of this film. But if you’re expecting an out-and-out political thriller, prepare to be disappointed.

'NRNM' has its share of hits and misses.  The story-telling in the first half is tight.  Good dialolgue-writing, nice performances, and the political canvas lend it an air of freshness.
