Spoiled Seed!

The movie begins on a shaky note. It bores us in the very beginning. Then towards the interval it turns funny, with good dose of humor coming on frequently. But this is due to content of the original movie itself. Despite good concept, the movie fails on all fronts as the remake is treated pathetically. Overall, the team has remained faithful to the original content but has failed to bring the same verve here. It turns out to be dull vithanam and the seed never blooms at any moment.

Strike Rate not promising enough!

Unfortunately, 'Naruda Donaruda' is no where close to the Original. Telugu Makers have failed terribly in the process of retaining the soul. The Casting of Heroine itself is a big minus for the remake. Overall, 'Naruda Donarudu' falters due to ineffective narration and below par production values. Only Tanikella Bharani is the bright spot in the whole movie. All one can say here is...A good concept has gone wasted!

Interesting concept but

On the whole, Naruda Donaruda is definitely a bold attempt from Sumanth. He needs to be credited for choosing a risky subject like this and decisions from actors like him can take Tollywood forward. But sadly for Sumanth, the narration is quite disappointing as the film suffers heavily from lack of emotions and is a strictly for adults only. If you completely forget the original and get along with the bold content of the film, you can give this film a shot for Tanikella Bharani and his hilarious act.

Weak Vitthanam

Naruda Donoruda sticks with the original script, but fails to retain the soul. Everything seems artificial and gives us a feeling that everybody is acting as per instructions. Films like these don't work if the setup looks artificial. Tanikella Bharani with his vast experience tried to save it, but his performance alone couldn't lift Naruda Donoruda.

'Sperm'-cial entertainer

A faithful remake of 'Vicky Donor', this film comes with a proper story. The emotions in the writing don't get an adequate translation on the celluloid, though. Production values take a beating, and the casting is not flawless either.

Fails to reach out the original

With some good humour here and there, the film might work for some but it completely failed to live up to the expectations. The trailer is entertaining but not the film. The film runs with improper pace which is the result of improper execution. The first half of the film is good and entertaining but the second half is not worthy enough. On a final note, the film fails to reach out the original and even fails in leaving a positive impression.

A bad remake

To sum up, Naruda Donaruda is a fresh subject which could have been made much better. Except for Thanikella Bharani’s performance in a few scenes, the movie has nothing interesting. And it’s not a good comeback for Sumanth.

This Vicky Donor remake fails to satisfy

The first part of the movie falls flat where it drags the plot in an attempt to establish the idea. The script should have been managed more sensitively to cater to ‘U/A’ audience.

High dose of Telugu double entendre

The story of Vicky Donor isn't new to the multiplex audiences but Naruda Donoruda ensured that there was a native tinge to it for the single screen audiences. While those who have already watched the Hindi version could watch this one for the high dose of Telugu double entendre, those who didn't can enjoy the tried-and-tested story.
