Concept Thriller

Though story of the film is routine, the screenplay of the film is completely different. It’s a brave decision to have such a different look and characterization for NTR. It’s a daring attempt to have the entire story happening in London and being true to the Thriller genre. There is a lot of mind game in this film. The screenplay is logical and makes you think all the time.

A New Age Cinema!

Sukumar wasn't so successful in presenting the emotional scenes of Hero & his Father. He neither made an attempt to show how Hero's Father was cheated by a ruthless Businessman. Suku tried to enthrall NTR's fan base with few heroism elevating scenes here and there. Its too early to predict how the masses would receive this intelligent flick laced with emotion. One thing is for sure, 'Nannaku Prematho' will get overwhelming reception is all the A Centres.

Nannaku Prematho is a film where all the unnecessary commercial aspects are put aside and the focus is on the content. NTR’s solid performance and emotional content are huge assets. However, the slow pace of the film and lack of certain elements which are expected by NTR fans and mass audience will hamper the collections to an extent. Finally, Nannaku Prematho is a class act which should do well only with the A center audience.

Nannaku Prematho is not a bad film at all. It has its moments and clever screenplay that will appeal to the educated audience. NTR and Jagapathi Babu have made it worth watching. Sukumar's brilliant screenplay will leave you awestruck at times. Having said that Nannaku Prematho may not perform well in B and C centers.

Science documentary sans emotions

Old formula story with 'physics' and 'mathematics' laced all over will not sound convincing. As time progresses, there should be some high emotions even though Sukumar used huge intelligence. Whether A or B or C centres, without churning emotions there is no use of applying theorems, principles, algebra, trigonometry, vaasu shastra and electronics. Sorry, add partial physics too.

It is NTR, show all the way and his makeover show. Audience, who expect high voltage action sequences and much elevated heroism leaves disappointed. Less action sequences, zero heroic dialogues and full on universal content is what it makes Nannaku Prematho. To sum up, this movie is a complete makeover for NTR and he finally tried something new.
