Dull Girl Boring Boyfriends

As there is no suspense element in the screenplay, every scene is predictable. The writer and director have not even made any attempt to write the scenes differently. Overall, “Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends” hasn't much to offer in terms of entertainment, or emotional impact, it is below average fare. It takes patience to sit through it.

Watch It only for Rao Ramesh!

Too many Pawan Kalyan references, Parody Songs and Comedy Blocks sans any logic weren't pleasing. Interval Bang is something anyone could expect. Director tried to rely on confusion-comedy in the Second Half. After plenty of silly scenes, The film takes a serious turn during pre-Climax and Rao Ramesh carries the film on his shoulders from then onwards. Justification given to equation of Heroine with each of the Heroes through Rao Ramesh's character is impressive. Even the entry of Raj Tharun in the Climax is quite nice. The intensity which we find in the last 15 minutes is missing after the first 15 minutes and hence the mixed feedback.

Watchable fare

On the whole, Nanna Nenu Na Boyfriends is a unique romantic drama which has some decent moments. Hebah Patel and Rao Ramesh’s performance and some strong emotional scenes are basic assets. On the flipside, routine love scenes and a predictable first half make the film go down at times. Finally, if you like love stories with a twist and a bit of father sentiment, you can give this film a shot.

NNNB is a desperate attempt to make a film something similar to Bommarillu that was equally liked by youth and the families. But the storyline of NNNB doesn't have that universal appeal and hence the family drama doesn't get along with it. Nice promotions may ensure good openings, but Nanna Nenu Naa Boyfriends doesn't have enough to stay long in the theaters. The success of this film will purely depend upon how youth embraces it.

Those avoidable hangovers

'NNNB' throws up a lot of humour in the first half, only to lose both pace and way in the second half. The flawed characterization of the female lead's character is a grave error.

Only one section of audience would enjoy the film. Family audiences would feel embarrassed, if they mistakenly go to watch the film.

Lack of freshness

Naanna Nenu Naa Boy Friends is one of the films that we have seen several times in the past. This film has a routine story line. Even the Screenplay was also designed in the routine commercial format.The comedy tracks were written nicely in the film. Though this comedy might not work with some audiences, the B and C class audiences will surely enjoy it. The only advantage of the film is comedy and it was included well in the commercial format.  The film offers nothing new but it’s completely a fun ride to get entertained for two hours. There is nothing much to talk about the story or the Screenplay because of lack of freshness. On a whole, the film has good fun moments and an engaging/emotional climax which can entertain the audiences. Watch it once.
