Mis(s) Match

Hero Uday Shankar was quite impressive in his role. His dialogue delivery, screen presence and the manner in which he falls in love with the heroine, the young actor has showcased them well. 

The film has a good concept but the screenplay is not that effective as more drama could have been generated in the film. The movie has many unnecessary scenes in the second half which could have been avoided.

On the whole, MisMatch is the story of a couple who are poles apart. Some love and emotional scenes create a good impact. 

Sports dramas in Tollywood have mostly come with a tinge of sentimental angle. From Golconda High School to the recent Kausalya Krishna Murthy, directors always try to mix up the two fluids in one bottle.

The second half delves more into the family drama with both sides reluctant about the marriage. Pradeep Rawat played the role of Maha Laxmi’s arrogant father, someone who loves wrestling more than anything. 

Aishwarya Rajesh doesn’t disappoint with her performance, she acts well and is convincing enough as a wrestler. She even adds to a few scenes with her expressions.
