One Ticket, Two Movies

The basic idea of "Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu" is actually funny. It has the potential to make a good spoof on the functioning of Telugu film industry. There are some real sparks in the movie too on this aspect. But director E Sattibabu has failed to capitalize on them fully. All in all, this movie is more about Prudhvi and his spoofs than Naveen Chandra and his love story, though the movie starts with that thread. Hence the comedy generates laughs, but the movie doesn't entertain as a whole.

Just for Few Laughs

Meelo Evaru Koteswarudu is a loud entertainer which is not everyone’s cup of tea. The film is clearly aimed at the single screen B and C center audience who do not mind over the top comedy. If you like Prithvi and his style of spoofing other stars and are ready to bear him for the entire duration of a film, you can give this film a shot. But for the rest, there are so many other options that you can explore this weekend.

Ee Torture Enti Maaku?

Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu is a pathetic attempt at making a parody film. The idea was to make fun of the cliches of a typical Telugu film, but sadly the film itself turned out to be a joke. Barring few laughs provided by Prudhvi and Posani, there is nothing to write about this awfully bad comedy. - See more at: http://www.gulte.com/moviereviews/588/Meelo-Evaru-Koteeswarudu-Movie-Review#sthash.6KXAmn0v.dpuf

When parodies get on the nerves

This one line description may help you understand the pathology of this film: The deliberately ridiculous film within film (that is, 'Tamala Paku') becomes the film we the audience end up watching because the indeliberately ridiculous makers didn't understand how inherently farcical their idea is.

Humorous Ride With Prudhvi

Movie begins with the introduction of a bankrupt producer and followed by few love and comedy sequences which are somewhat entertaining and routine. How a hero who has a character like Lord Rama is followed by a rich girl and fall in love. Screenplay in this half is having a lot of comic sequences which entertains and it fails to engage the audience throughout this half. It ends where Prudhvi enter into the movie as a junior artist who gets a break to become hero of a movie. The scene where he utters the dialogues of star heroes is highly enjoyable. Second half consists of his mannerisms and his comedy timing which makes this half an enjoyable ride with the right entertainment. Naveen Chandra who is struggling with a series of flops will again be disappointed with this movie as it has nothing but the comedy of Prudhvi. He should have selected better scripts to be in line like his contemporaries. Director Satti Babu did a nice job in using Prudhvi and his comedy timing but he seemed to have less concentrated on story and content. To sum up, Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu is a humorous ride with Prudhvi.
