The concept of the film is quite novel and it clearly justifies the current generation’s misuse of technology. The way it has been set in comic background looks good and makes a good script.

One of the biggest drawbacks of the film is that it does not have that pace which is needed. The lead actor is in tension and is looking to change something which can spoil his life. Such situations should be showcased in a gripping manner with a taut screenplay.

On the whole Meeku Maathrame Chepta is a situational comedy which a relatable plot and passable fun. However, the narration is a bit dull and proceedings are routne.

Tharun Bhascker’s debut as a lead actor under the direction of Shammeer Sultan hit screens today amidst huge fanfare. While the film does work in bits and pieces, the comedy just fails to land. Weak screenplay, characterisations and repetitive scenes prove to be its downfall.

While Meeku Maathrame Cheptha sees many debutants, it is Abhinav and Tharun who unsurprisingly grab screen space for the longest duration. Vani Bhojan doesn’t get enough scope to perform and be anything other than the annoying girlfriend till the end.

Suspense-comedy is a genre that requires finesse and is not something everyone can pull off. And when the screenplay and story don’t offer much, it turns out to be a major bore.

Sensational hero Vijay Devarakonda turned a producer now with the new movie Meeku Mathrame Cheptha which is said to be a big laugh riot at the box-office. The theatrical trailer entertained everyone big time. Tharun Bhascker, Anasuya, Abhinav Gomatam, and others are playing crucial roles in the film.

Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam breathes life into his character. Though this is his debut movie, Tharun Bhaskar has given his best in his performance and proved that he could entertain the audience not only with his directional skills but also with his performance. Abhinav Gomatam delivered an honest performance.

The director not only concentrated on the entertainment factor but also gave an interesting storyline for the film. The way he has narrated the script is not really entertaining. The characters are designed strongly, which is definitely a plus point for this film.

Rakesh (Tharun Bhascker) is a television anchor. One day, she falls in love with a doctor (Vani Bhojan). She also falls in love with him. Their parents accept to get them married. Just when everything is going so well, an embarrassing video of Rakesh goes viral on the internet.

Tharun Bhascker Dhaassyam has made a point that he can also be a good actor with his superb performance in the movie. The way he has blended with the character and essayed it on the silver screens is excellent, and he is genuinely the show-stealer of the film.

The first 30 minutes of the movie will be boring and won't engage the audience. The entire first half is just average. Interesting characterizations, performances, and entertaining narration are the highlights of the film.
