Allari Naresh has played his part well in the makes. The role he played in the one-time is no different from a number of roles that he already played in the past. But, the way Naresh tried to present himself with this film is amazing and can be appreciated.

Meda Meedha Abbayi is a film that has got the scope for opening up so well in the right parts but at many points, the film unit failed to turn it into an awesome entertaining product. There is a good story in the hand but the way the screenplay has written hardly brings any excitement to the audiences. The remake plot could have been changed to appear more convincingly.

On a whole, Meda Meedha Abbayi is a watchable film for once if we have no other option for engaging yourself in for this weekend.

One of the major reliefs in the film is that Naresh has completely stayed away from irritating spoof comedy. He sticks to his character and gives a decent performance as an easy going guy. Looks wise, Nikhila Vimal is okay and performs to the best of her capability.

Director G. Prajith has come up with a weak storyline and even weaker narration. It is hard to believe that he was the same guy who directed the original with Nivin Pauly. The screenplay of the film runs on a very flat note reminding us of Malayalam films which are quite slow.

On the whole, Meda Meeda Abbayi is a below average comedy drama which has some fun here and there. Though Hyper Adhi’s comedy scenes entertain you in parts, they cannot save the film. The unconvincing storyline and a dragged out second half are huge drawbacks.
