On the whole, it appeals to limited audiences as it works in some parts and some parts are a put off. There are equal number of good sequences and boring episodes.

Mind Game of Hero-Villain is major attraction in 'LIE'. Neither Love nor Enmity were impressive. Overall, 'LIE' will be loved by audience who enjoy intelligent thrillers

Passable Action Drama - LIE is a film which has a very interesting plot and even the strongest of support from the lead stars. But it is the execution that falters as unnecessary scenes keep coming in at regular intervals spoiling the effect of the thriller a bit.

Lie is a typical spy thriller where the police are tracing down an international terrorist. On a whole, Lie is not a super entertainer, but it will not entirely disappoint either.

As the title suggests, mind games and a lot of untruth make up this LIE. Songs are pretty meh.  The action sequences are on point. The climax will take you by surprise, but the Hanu Raghavapudi directorial will disappoint you in some bits

'LIE' is a stylized crime thriller with a sharp protagonist and a thinking antagonist.  Neat performances and first-rate technical values help.  On the other hand, a cliched rom-com track and a weak climax take the zing out.

Lie is just a routine thriller but the way Hanu Raghavapudi handled the writing department and the way he set the premise, the way he introduced characters, the way he reveal the plot twists, the way he approached the scenes, the way he summed up or the way the justified the title stands out. Lie is a good movie which lack commercial elements which we see in regular commercial movies.
