Lakshmi

 Lakshmi is exactly what you expect from a dance-based movie. It has some spectacular dance, okayish dramatic moments and a not-so-bad conflict.

The supporting characters aren’t established properly. The likes of Kovai Sarala (as the school principal) and Karunakaran (coffee shop employee) evoke laugh at certain instances

One of the major plus points of the film are the kids who performed at the dance show. They are just amazing and it’s an absolute treat to watch them perform some difficult dance movements with so much ease and flexibility.

Director Vijay, who is widely known for his emotional dramas has come up with a regular dance-based film.

On the whole, Lakshmi is a typical dance-based film with some amazing dance moves from the little kids.

Director AL Vijay picks different genres and packs it with all the clichés that are possible. He shoots them well with best technicians on board.

There is an emotional subplot between the lead pair of Prabhu Deva and Aishwarya. The way its concluded is so poorly written and done. 

Sam CS has provided the music which is a crucial ingredient in connecting with the movie as much as the dances.
