Well-made Thriller

On the flipside, the basic revelation towards end (finding whodunit) may not be in popular taste. Executed on shoestring budget, this film will be a profitable one. But the extent success will depend on how audience take the revelation. On a whole, Kshanam is a decent and engaging suspense thriller despite of a couple of unconvincing points.

A Gripping Thriller!

'Kshanam' starts on a slow note and gains momentum during the pre-Interval phase. The non-linear approach while presenting the Flashback is a good attempt. Second Half keeps the viewers on the edge of their seats, especially the last 40-odd minutes. Thrillers like these aren't for those who enjoy regular commercial entertainers loaded with slapstick comedy & brainless action.

Kshanam – Racy Suspense Drama

Off late, Tollywood is surprising us with some out of the box and sensible films. Kshanam falls in that category and does not fall for the so called commercial trap. Racy narration, suspense factor and terrific performances from the lead cast are huge assets. Barring some unconvincing points regarding the plot, Kshanam ends up as an intense and enjoyable thriller which will not disappoint you at all. Go watch it.

At one look, Kshanam will sound like a Hollywood movie but while the logics are being concluded, it sounds like a typical Telugu masala film. Film may sustain at box office until a happening film arrives, but will not see a long run due to its cliched story, missing of cinematic elements and more importantly some interesting performances.
