Mass Nayaka - “Jaya Janaki Nayaka” is typical Boyapati’s mass-action drama that has some good fights and interesting scenes here and there. It may work in B and C centers but it is unlikely to appeal to class audiences and overseas audiences.

Boyapati's MASS at work! - Boyapati Sreenu knows his craft that is to enthrall masses with his movies. Jaya Janaki Nayaka is about a guy who goes all out to protect the girl he loves. On a whole, Jaya Janaki Nayaka has all elements that make a commercial potboiler work at box office!

Boyapati narrated a routine story on a grand level. This film is for those who enjoy Boyapati-mark hero-elevation scenes, action sequences and songs. Grandeur throughout the movie doesn't give an impression that Bellamkonda is a budding hero. Jaya Janaki Nayaka is an out-and-out Boyapati Srinu film. The interval bang, true to Boyapati’s style, is praiseworthy and elevates the movie to a different level. The strength of the film is undoubtedly the characterisation, Rakul Preet’s performance and Boyapati’s direction. For Srinivas, this film will serve as a platform to further make his way into the hearts of the Telugu audience and he has to thank Boyapati for that.

Fans of Boyapati-style filmmaking are sure to find it a lot interesting.  Rakul takes up a challenging role and succeeds.  The hero shows improvement but has a long way to go. Devi Sri Prasad's music and background score raise the film's appeal, so also Rishi Punjabi's adept visuals. Could appeal to sections of family audiences.
