Needs Some Repairs

The major issue of the movie is the story of Koratala Siva which is not at all new. All in all, the movie can be watched for some moments in the second half and NTR’s terrific performance. Not a good movie but not totally bad either.

lacks emotional impact!

First half of the film runs in a passive mode till the leads meet at interval. Second half has a few engaging scenes, but becomes flat as climax approaches. A film of this type (lacking entertainment (comedy) and glamour (romance)) needs an extremely good emotional impact to work well with audiences. Plus points of the film are NTR, Mohanlal and characterizations. On the flipside, an engaging conflict point and emotionally charged climax/pre-climax is missing. We have to wait and see how this film coming from a director of two blockbusters and an actor who delivered two good recent films fare at box office!

Requires Few Repairs!

First things first, 'Janatha Garage' has its moments but audience will feel a bit disappointed with routine story & screenplay. It must be said that Villains couldn't match up to NTR & Mohan Lal. Still, Two Action Sequences elevating Heroism works in favor of the movie. The long-drawn Climax is a big let down. Overall, 'Janatha Garage' manages to be a Just OK film.

Emotional action drama

On the whole, Janatha Garage is not your regular popcorn entertainer which Tollywood churns out every week. It is a character-driven film where the onus is on serious emotions. Though NTR performs brilliantly, Mohan Lal gets a prominent role and this might not go well with NTR’s fans. The film will appeal to the general audience more than the fans. Finally, if you ignore the predictable story line, you may give this film a shot.

Janatha Garage - Just Average

It may impress Jr. NTR fans and the audience that likes serious action dramas. Except for a couple of well conceived scenes and stellar performances from the male leads, Janatha Garage is strictly an average fare. Let's see how far can Tarak pull this off after the initial hype and buzz dies down.

'Rotha' and the rage

A routine hero-versus-villain story with a small innovation in the hero's characterization. Watch out for NTR and Mohanlal's performance.

Disappointment on hype it generated

1st half Mohan lal has strong presence and second half Ntr . But its a pity that in second half Mohan lal is completely sidelined . Even though 2,3 scenes had the strength it was not enough to lift the film all together. Over all its a disappointment on hype it generated. Over all if your are Ntr fan you wont be disappointed by his acting. Go with out any expectations , may be you will enjoy.

Hat-Trick For Koratala and Jr NTR

Director Koratala Siva is to be appreciated for using an intense and powerful actor like NTR in emotionally charged scenes. Those scenes prove what an actor NTR is. Second half unleashes actor NTR and writer Koratala at the same time.Kudos NTR and Koratala Siva for making a content driven film putting all the calculations aside. To summarise, Janatha Garage is a hat-trick for NTR Jr and Koratala Siva!!

This ‘Janata Garage’ needs some repair!

To sum up, Janata Garage falls short of expectations. It is slower than Koratala Siva’s earlier films. The director has chosen a good subject, but he has failed to narrate the same properly. Except for a few interesting scenes, the film is predictable and outdated.

This Mohanlal, Jr NTR film is a masala mess beyond repair

The movie is nothing but a pathetic adaptation of Ram Gopal Varma’s Sarkar, with a lot of colour and commercial elements added.

Leaves us with mixed feelings

This film can be so amazing at times, that it takes your interesting to a new level altogether. But then, it suddenly becomes dull out of nowhere leaving you racking your brains. This Janatha Garage might give everyone a hand in repairs but they need a wee bit of repair themselves too. But guess what, we'd still tell you not to miss it, because the film has a lot more to offer thanks to the wonderful visuals captured by Tirru and soulful BGM rendered by Devi Sri Prasad.
