Loud and Lengthy

Among the good things in the movie, there are couple of genuine laugh moments when Sunil tries to expose the real identity of Bairagi. The track involving Prudhvi, Sunil, and a big family is also funny. These come in the second half but rest of the movie is so boring and loud that it is impossible to appreciate such jokes. All in all, Sunil has come up with another disappointing movie though it has some comedy unlike his recent films.

A Sculpture not worth Watching!

Basic Plot & Screenplay of 'Jakkanna' keeps on irritating the viewers after a point. Audience get disconnected with the story during the Interval Block. In the second half, Comedy Scenes start coming one after the other without any logic. The end result could have been different had if Director focused on narration rather than punchlines with rhyming words.

Jakkanna – Mass comedy

On the whole, Jakkanna is yet another routine commercial entertainer that you might have seen many a times in the past. Except for a few laughs here and there, this film has nothing much to offer. This film might find some audience in the B and C centres for the over the top fun it generates. But for the regular and family audience, it ends up as just a below average entertainer and can be given a shot only if you have absolutely nothing to do.

What a waste of Sunil!

Jakkanna is like every other commercial film that simply waits until the interval point to reveal the plot. First half of Jakkanna is a giant yawn. Although the film gets slightly better in the second half with some comedy parts clicking, it was not enough to make us forget the pain we have been through during the first hour. On the whole, Jakkanna is yet another disappointment from Sunil, the ace comedian. Watch it at your own peril.

Duplicate 'Jakkanna'

A good story line has been wasted in the quagmire of Tollywood-style commerciality. Too many rhymes and parodies do 'Jakkanna' in.

Make sure you don't expect much

Though the movie impresses in bits it does not sustain the attention of the audience. It comes across as a cliched routine commercial drama. The movie might not be able to impress the multiplex audiences.

Better Of Sunil After Ages

Comedy is written and forcibly injected into all the scenes with punches written with a motto of rhyming it seem. First half ends where Sunil kills fifty people to save Kabir Duhan Singh. It ends on an interesting note and create necessary excitement for the second half. Second half is consumed by hero playing with villain in the name of thanksgiving for his help. Entertainment dips a bit down and again starts with the introduction of Prudhvi as Kattappa. To sum up, Jakkanna is better version of Sunil from his previous movies.
