Indrasena

All we suggest you is keep your expectations in check as the film does not have any different story as associated with all Vijay Anthony films and ends up as just an okay watch this weekend.

Vijay Antony is not a brilliant performer but he tried his best to show decent variations in both his roles. The interval block is good and raises curiosity about the latter half. A few family emotions showcased in the second half bring depth to the proceedings to an extent. One the major drawbacks of the film are its slow-paced narration and dull proceedings. On the whole, Indrasena is a sacrificing tale of a good guy called Indrasena.

Boring Tearjerker Attempt.

Vijay Antony plays a double role as Indrasena and Rudrasena. There is not much difference in the acts which is why the characters easily change places at a time. There are three female leads in the movie. However, none can be actually said as the proper heroine. They all part of the narrative and come at different points. Music By Vijay Antony is adequate for the terrain, but there is nothing memorable. The background score is better. The cinematography is fine. The editing is messy in parts. Dialogues are okay.

The movie lacks strong negative force. Overall, Indrasena is extremely tedious and boring watch.

ఈ ‘ఇంద్రసేన’తో జాగ్రత్త సుమీ!

విజయ్ ఆంటోనీ బేసిగ్గా అంత మంచి నటుడేమీ కాదు. అతడి ముఖంలో హావభావాలు పలకవు. కానీ మంచి కథలు.. పాత్రలు ఎంచుకోవడంతో అతను జనాలకు నచ్చాడు. కానీ ఇందులో కథ.. పాత్ర రెండూ తేలిపోయాయి. దీంతో అతనూ తేలిపోయాడు. ద్విపాత్రాభినయం చేసిన అతను రెండు పాత్రల్లో ఏమాత్రం వైవిధ్యం చూపించలేకపోయాడు. హీరోయిన్లు డయానా చంపిక.. మహిమల గురించి చెప్పుకోవడానికేమీ లేదు. విలన్ పాత్రలు చేసిన వాళ్లూ అంతంత మాత్రమే. విజయ్ ఆంటోనీ సంగీతం పర్వాలేదు. దర్శకుడు శ్రీనివాసన్ ఏ రకంగాననూ మెప్పించలేకపోయాడు.

మొత్తంగా ‘ఇంద్రసేన’ సినిమా చూస్తున్నంతసేపూ మనం 20-30 ఏళ్లు వెనక్కి వెళ్లినట్లే భావిస్తాం. అంత ఔట్ డేటెడ్ సినిమా ఇది.ఓవరాల్ గా చెప్పాలంటే ‘ఇంద్రసేన’ విషయం లేని కథాకథనాలతో ఆద్యంతం విసిగించే ఒక వ్యర్థ ప్రయత్నం.
