Howrah Bridge is a good script gone wrong.

Rahul Ravindran does his best in his role as an engineer. Chandni Chowdary is very impressive. Not only does she look beautiful, but does well in all the emotional scenes. Rao Ramesh does his villain act well as his diction and dialogue delivery is good.

Production values of the film are just about okay. Director Revan Yaadu falters with his execution in a big way. The camerawork is average but the music and background score is pretty decent.

Even though the story and premise of the film are good, the way it is narrated with illogical proceedings, lack of emotions and romance spoil the flow of the film completely.

Howrah Bridge is a love story with a confusion angle attached to it. Story when looked as a single line is interesting but it seemed routine when seen in the movie.

Rewon Yadhu, who happens to be the director and also writer for this movie could have written a better screenplay. Chandini Chowdary is nice as Sweety. She looks cute as a Telugu girl. Manali Rathod is fine. Rao Ramesh is the biggest asset for the movie and he is fantastic in his role.

Better casting and a realistic making would make the same subject look like a different movie. The biggest problem with the movie is the screenplay that is filled with unnecessary scenes having comedy or commercial ingredients.

Rewon Yadhu provides the story, screenplay in addition to direction. We have to say the story is alright, but it is in the screenplay and direction departments where he fails.

The scenes during the pre-climax are the best part even with all the predictability in place. But once again the climax is a let down in the way it is executed. It comes across as silly and unintentionally comical. Overall, Howrah Bridge had the scope for a decent romantic outing conceptually and on paper, but it fails big time when seen on screen.

Rahul Ravindran has failed to live up to the expectations. Chandini Chowdary appears very beautiful. She is the only charm that can be given attention in this movie. The other actors failed to reach the expectations.

The technical values are poor for Howrah Bridge. The songs are routine with no proper leads. The camera work disappoints. Editing is half done. The screenplay is dragged and leads to boredom.

Though the movie Howrah Bridge has a good concept, it fails to keep the audience entertained. Lagged screenplay with no scenes properly interwoven leaves the audience impatient.
