Happy Wedding

‘Happy Wedding ‘is an indecisive girl’s typical dilemma while entering a marital life. Lead pair Akshara and Anand belong to Hyderabad, Vijayawada respectively. 

The first half of the film is cool, the second half is adequate but slow paced and preachy approach may not be liked by some sections.

Niharika Konidela is beautiful in this film. She portrays the confused girl’s role so naturally. Hero Sumanth Ashwin has improved in performance

Happy Wedding comes with a not so strong conflict point, turns preachy and slow at times.

Happy Wedding first half is alright. The first half has some nice written dialogues and feel good moments but turns slow at times. 

‘Happy Wedding’ is mega daughter Niharika Konidela’s second venture as an actress and she is hoping the big way to score a decent hit, the least. 
 
 

Not Happy

Sumanth Ashwin as the youngster from Vijayawada is neat, though there is nothing much for him to prove as far as performance is concerned.Niharika has screen presence, but she still has a long way to get noticed for acting skills. She has to work on some of her emotions, apart from relying only on her looks.

Music by Shaktikanth is out right ordinary. The film’s cinematography is pleasant. Production design is neat.

“Happy Wedding” is a simple love story of a confused girl that is told with some bright visuals, some nice jokes but turns out to be dreary and nagging.

హ్యాపీ వెడ్డింగ్.. నాట్ హ్యాపీ

‘హ్యాపీ వెడ్డింగ్’లో పాత్ర.. నటన పరంగా స్టాండ్ ఔట్ గా నిలిచేది నిహారికనే. ఆమె కోసమే ఈ సినిమా తీసినట్లుగా అనిపిస్తుంది. హీరో కూడా ఉన్నప్పటికీ కథంతా నిహారిక చుట్టూనే తిరుగుతుంది. అంత కీలకమైన పాత్రలో నిహారిక బాగానే చేసింది. ఆమె నటనలో పరిణతి కనిపిస్తుంది. సుమంత్ అశ్విన్ కూడా బాగానే చేశాడు. ఐతే మొదట్లో మరీ అత్యుత్సాహంతో.. అవసరానికి మించిన పాజిటివ్ యాటిట్యూడ్ తో సుమంత్ కొంచెం అసహజంగా కనిపిస్తాడు. ఐతే ద్వితీయార్ధంలో మరో కోణాన్ని చూపిస్తూ సాగే అతడి పాత్ర ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. పతాక సన్నివేశాల్లో అతను చాలా బాగా నటించాడు.

శక్తికాంత్ కార్తీక్ సంగీతం పర్వాలేదు. రెండు పాటలు మంచి ఫీలింగ్ ఇస్తాయి. తమన్ నేపథ్య సంగీతం ఆకట్టుకుంటుంది. బాల్ రెడ్డి ఛాయాగ్రహణం బాగుంది. సినిమా టోన్ కు తగ్గట్లుగా సాగుతుంది కెమెరా వర్క్. నిర్మాణ విలువలు జస్ట్ ఓకే అనిపిస్తాయి. పరిమిత బడ్జెట్లోనే సినిమా తీసినట్లున్నారు. యువి క్రియేషన్స్ లేటుగా ఈ ప్రాజెక్టులోకి రావడం వల్లేమో వాళ్ల మార్కేమీ ఇందులో కనిపించలేదు.

కొత్త దర్శకుడు లక్ష్మణ్ ఒక సింపుల్ కథను ఎంచుకుని.. సింపుల్ గా చెప్పే ప్రయత్నం చేశాడు. కథలో ఇంకొంచెం బలమైన అంశాలు ఉండేలా చూసుకోవాల్సింది. కథనంలో వేగం చూపించాల్సింది. వెబ్ సిరీస్ తరహాలో సినిమాను నడిపించాడు. ఫీచర్ ఫిలిం స్థాయికి అతడి ప్రతిభ సరిపోలేదు.

Happy Wedding – Confusion vs Emotions

One of the biggest assets of the film is the basic theme of the film. Niharika is way better than her first film. She has a complex role to portray and she did a decent job. Sumanth Aswin is impressive with his makeover. He too has improved a lot and is now more calmer which helps him and the story of the film in a big way.

Production values by UV creations are top notch and that is backed up by some awesome camerawork by Bal Reddy. Music by Shaktikanth Kartick is below par.

On the whole, Happy Wedding is a passable family drama which showcases a contemporary theme which is synonymous with the current generation.

Naresh and Pavitra Lokesh are the groom’s parents and did their roles well. 

Despite starting on an interesting note, the director failed to maintain the flow and the pace got reduced over time. he production values by Pocket Cinema are just average. Their collaboration with UV creations helped them in giving a decent rice look for the film. Thaman’s BGM is extraordinary. The songs by Shakthikanth Karthick are good. Visuals by cinematographer Bal Reddy are pretty good.

The movie has shown the reality and the youth can easily connect to all the three major characters easily which gives them an entertaining ride. On the end, the movie ends on a disappointing note.
