If Adivi Sesh’s Kshanam gave a new edge to the thriller genre, Goodachari is a notch higher and showcases that there are makers in Tollywood who can dream big and make films on an international level.

It’s hard to pull off a spy thriller, especially when the team doesn’t have A-list names and therefore, the mammoth budgets. 

Adivi Sesh who also shares the writing credits with director Sashi Kiran Tikka and Abburi Ravi, is the backbone of this film. He plays his character with the right mix of zeal and vulnerability. 

 With ‘Goodachari’ we finally have our very own James Bond, in the form of Trinetra Agent 116. 

The best part of ‘Goodachari’, other than the intriguing plot, is the characterisation of Gopi. The actor was not lying when he said he wanted to bring a spy who was purely Indian to Tollywood.

Sashi Kiran Tikka with his tight narrative and Sricharan Pakala with his stupendous music also steal the show, elevating the film to a whole new level.

Shashi Kiran Tikka has done a commendable job considering the budget constraints and other limitation at hand.

Overall, Goodachari despite its issues is enjoyable. Hollywood watchers could try and guess numerous inspirations, others can enjoy a different outing that hits the mark more than missing.
