‘Gang Leader ‘takes off in very interesting manner, the robbery scene has been presented stylishly. Quickly diving into the story, five ladies gang lead by Lakshmi has been formed to take revenge.

Natural star Nani is effort-less as Pencil Parthasarathy, lives up to the reputation. His comedy timing, ease in acting are good watch. Senior actress Lakshmi, Saranya and heroine Priyanka all performed good.

Gang Leader ‘ film has an interesting and creative story plot , but the narration is not as exciting as the storyline.

A passionate yet fake writer and a motley bunch of women with a thirst for vengeance is the oddest gang you could root for. And yet, Vikram K Kumar brings together an unlikely set of people to headline Gang Leader. 

The trouble is, Gang Leader tries to be too many things at once and doesn't really do justice to any one aspect. One minute it's a comedy about a writer's detective skills, then there's a parallel love track between Nani and P

Nani is the film's heart and soul and brings Gang Leader to life with his charm, wit and classic humour.riyanka (with a sincere performance), which never really takes off.

The setting and concept of the film is quite novel and is devoid of the regular commercial aspects. 

The climax of the film is wrapped up in no time as the villain is finished with just a simple fight and ending.

On the whole, Gang Leader is a novel crime thriller which is filled with good fun and crsip narration. Nani leads from the front and is ably supported by some taut performances which hold the film well. 

Looked different right from its snippets came out. People thought since it is Megastar Chiranjeevi earlier titled “Gang Leader”, had impression that Nani would play the fan of Chiru and go mad for him but to surprise, it went all poles apart. 

Undoubtedly, expectations have been reached. People expect fun out of Nani films usually, without any second thought you have the entire entertainment quotient here in the film. 

As expected, film lives up to the expectations. Full on fun evoked by Nani and rest of the team is quite remarkable. Fun loving people will enjoy this film.

Dull Affair

Nani is in natural form. The characterization of a novel writer has a comic angle. There is no heroism.

Karthikeya of ‘RX 100’ fame in his debut villain role has done a good job.

Like in Vikram Kumar’s previous movies, Nani’s Gang Leader too has excellent cinematography, good technical values. Music by Anirudh Ravichander is just ordinary.

Natural Star Nani is undoubtedly the show stealer for this movie. The way he has portrayed the role of Pencil Partha Sarathi is outstanding. He is truly an asset for this movie and his energetic performance in the movie became one of the major plus points.

Director Vikram K Kumar has penned yet another interesting storyline for this movie. He has proved that he can not only prepare an interesting storyline but can also execute it in an entertaining way.

The movie not only has a lot of entertainment but also has a decent and interesting storyline which can be considered as one of the major plus points for this film.

Few unrelated women brought together by a common incident in life, want revenge for their plight. They choose Pencil Parthasarathy (Nani) as their leader for their revenge story. 

Nani shouldered the entire film with his impeccable performance. When the treatment happens to be humor-based, it is known that Nani gives out his best. 

Coming to the writing part and other technical aspects, in parts it appears to be a screenplay and dialogue-driven exercise than the storyline. But on a whole, it ends up as a fair deal. 
 

The story you have read above is how director Vikram Kumar wants us to see the film.  Do you, however, know the real story?  

The investigation track involving Nani and the rest should have been smart.  Do you need to find a stopwatch as a clue to conclude that robbers did a lot of homework to complete their mission in 18 minutes?  

'Gang Leader' offers some laughs; the situational humour is impressive here and there.  The storyline is novel, the premise is exciting.
