Viswak Sen made an impressive debut with Ee Nagariniki Emanidi but he is a tad too good in this film. His body language, dialogue delivery and the mass aura that he showcased in the film are top notch.

This film is for sheer single screens and the youth. There is nothing to look forward to the families as it has a lot of abuse and violence in many scenes.

On the whole, Falaknuma Das is an intense and realistic crime drama which has a decent first half. The setup, earthy characters, performances, and realistic narration make this film click most of the time.

Viswaksen is definitely the show stealer for this film. Viswak already has experience in acting in such raw films and we can say that it helped him a lot in giving his best in this movie. His natural and realistic performance made the movie even more interesting.

Production values by Vanmaye Creations, Vishwak Sen cinemas & Terranova Pictures & Media 9 Creative Works are outstanding.

Though this is a remake, the hero cum director Viswaksen failed to prepare an interesting story for this film. Instead of what people usually do with the remakes, he has come up with necessary changes to the movie but could not execute them properly.

Vishwak Sen plays the lead character besides directing the movie. As an actor, he gives his all, the effort is visible and therein lies the problem. His best shot is not enough as the role requires more depth.

The drama involving Das and his friends and the conflict introduced with the characters of Ravi and Raj generates some interest.

The background score by Vivek Sagar is as much a show stopper as are the dialogues. It is fantastic. Vivek Sagar continues to impress musically irrespective of the success or failure of the movie.

Other than the lead actor Vishwak Sen and Uttej, the film has all newcomers playing most of the roles in the film.

The film is shot in art movie style and in real locations. Seems to have been shot mostly in the old city. The cinematography is good. Production design is appreciable.

As films with Telangana backdrop and actors speaking Telangana accent have become a new trend in Telugu films, “Falaknuma Das’ on paper looks right story to narrate.

'Falaknuma Das' is majorly a screenplay-based movie.  If you keep searching for a story in it, you will have Mollywood-level disappointment.  Yes, it's a remake of the Malayalam movie 'Angamalay Dairies'.

The film is made like a true-blue bromance and more.  You will find too many characters in most of the frames; they keep talking, shouting at each other, or slapping others, sincerely deploying the street language of pucca Hyderabadis.

The film narrates the rise, fall and rise of a small-time rowdy named Das.  The story is wafer-thin, the film presents some solid moments but many scenes are monotonous.
