F2

Sankranthi is one such a festival season in which makers try to release their movies to encash the holiday season. Every Sankranthi is indeed a festival for movie lovers with the release of new movies back to back. 

Victory Venkatesh has got his kind of hilarious character after a long time and he did his best and made the audience jump on their seats with their laughs. Varun Tej did fine in his role and he too managed to complement Venkatesh. 

F2 is a story of a frustrated husband and a frustrated fiance and how they solved their frustrations is the crux. Director Anil Ravipudi who entertained the audience with his previous three movies has done superb work with this movie. 

When it comes to humour, there’s not one kind of it that’ll tickle everyone’s funny bone. Some like it subtle, some slapstick, and then there are those who like it situational, while others prefer roasts.

The basic plot of the film has been done and dusted in Indian films so many times, there’s really nothing anyone can do to make it unique. The first half of the film seems like one long rant by frustrated men on how women always nag. 

However, give this one a chance this weekend if you’re looking for something that you can leave your brains at home for and enjoy irrespective of the tired old template.

Venkatesh’s comic timing is the main asset of the movie. He leads the film from the front. Whenever he is on screen, you get entertained. Entire first half, he dominates with his terrific comedy.

Although Devi Sri Prasad has disappointed with ‘Vinaya Vidheya Rama’, he has surprisingly given better music for “F2”, his numbers are catchy and have helped the movie’s fun mood.

Despite its formulaic narration and predictable second half, the movie makes an entertaining watch.

Venkatesh, the senior star is back after a long gap. He is seen playing a henpecked husband to perfection. The comic timing brings back the vintage Venky in free-flowing form. It is an absolute delight and totally dominates the co-actor. 

After three successful films, director Anil Ravipudi is back with his fourth outing F2 (Fun N Frustration). 

Check out the highly entertaining film Pellam Oorelthe which set a trend in the past for similar flicks.

 

దర్శకుడు అనిల్ రావిపూడి తొలి సినిమా ‘పటాస్’.. ఆ తర్వాత తీసిన ‘సుప్రీమ్’.. ‘రాజా ది గ్రేట్’.. ఈ మూడింట్లోనూ కనిపించే కామన్ ఫ్యాక్టర్.. వాటికి ప్రధాన ఆకర్షణగా నిలిచిన అంశం కామెడీ. 

ఐతే ప్రథమార్ధం చూసి ద్వితీయార్ధం మీద ఎన్నో అంచనాలు పెట్టుకుంటాం కానీ.. ‘ఎఫ్-2’  ఆ అంచనాలకు దరిదాపుల్లోనూ నిలవదు. కొంచెం కథ చెప్పాల్సిన చోట అనిల్ తేలిపోయాడు. 

ముందే అన్నట్లుగా ఈ చిత్రానికి వెంకీ నటన ప్రత్యేక ఆకర్షణ. చాన్నాళ్ల తర్వాత తన కామెడీ టైమింగ్ చూపించే అవకాశం రావడంలో వెంకీ రెచ్చిపోయి నటించాడు. అట్టా ఏడిపించకపోతే దాని కడుపున ఒక కాయ కాయించొచ్చుగా అని అన్నపూర్ణ అంటే.. 

Simple & Funny

Venkatesh is back in top form and is hilarious in the film. His facial expressions and the manner in which he evokes the Bakra comedy is quite good. Credit to should go to Varun Tej for holding his fort in front of a senior artist like Venky. Tamannaah looks gorgeous in the film and the surprise package is Mehreen who evoked silly expressions and comedy superbly.

Music by DSP is just about okay and so was his background score. Dialogues are hilarious and director Anil has used them in right situations. Production values by Dil Raju are top notch. Coming to the director Anil Ravipudi, he has done a good job with the film. He has used Venkatesh’s potential to full use and created good comedy at regular intervals.

On the whole, F2 is a happy fun film which can be watched with your entire family. Vintage Venky is back and he makes sure that there is all-round entertainment in the film. 

'నువ్వు నాకు నచ్చావ్', 'మల్లీశ్వరి' తరహాలో వెంకటేష్ మరోసారి నవ్వించాడు. ఫ్యామిలీ కథల్లో  వెంకీ యాక్టింగ్, కామెడీ టైమింగ్ బావుంటాయి. మరోసారి అటువంటి టైమింగ్‌తో ఆకట్టుకున్నాడు. కామెడీ టైమింగ్‌తో మ్యాచ్ కావడం అంటే వరుణ్ తేజ్ వంటి యంగ్ హీరోకి అంత సులభం కాదు. అయితే... వెంకీ యాక్టింగ్‌తో, టైమింగ్‌తో మ్యాచ్ అయ్యేలా వరుణ్ తేజ్ నటించాడు. పాత్ర పరిధిలో బాగా చేశాడు. తమన్నా నటన ఓకే. మెహరీన్ ఎప్పటిలా లిప్ సింక్ లేకుండా, ఎక్స్‌ప్రెష‌న్స్ లేకుండా ఏదో నటించేశారు.

దర్శకుడు అనిల్ రావిపూడి కథ కంటే కామెడీపై ఎక్కువ దృష్టి పెట్టాడు. ఫస్టాఫ్ వరకూ ప్రేక్షకులను నవ్వించడంలో సక్సెస్ అయ్యాడు. కథ కొంచెం ముందుకు కదలకపోయినా... కామెడీని ప్రేక్షకులు ఎంజాయ్ చేస్తారు. సెకండాఫ్ కథ యూరప్‌కి వెళ్లిన తరవాత ఏం చేయాలో పాలుపోయినట్టు లేదు.

 ప్రేక్షకులను నవ్వించడమే పరమావధిగా తీసిన చిత్రమిది. అవుట్ అండ్ అవుట్ కామెడీ జానర్ ఫిల్మ్. ఫస్టాఫ్ వరకూ కథతో సంబంధం లేకుండా ఎటువంటి జర్కులు లేకుండా ప్రేక్షకులను బాగానే నవ్వించారు.

సినిమా స్టార్ట్ అయిన కొద్దిసేపటికే థియేటర్స్‌లో ఫన్ ప్రవాహంలా మారింది. కాస్త గ్యాప్ ఇవ్వు వెంకీ నవ్వుకుంటాం అనేంతగా వెంకటేష్ విశ్వరూపం చూపించారు. ఇక తెలంగాణ పోరడు వరుణ్ యాదవ్‌గా.. వెంకీకి తమ్ముడుగా వరుణ్ తేజ్ డిఫరెంట్‌ రోల్‌లో కనిపించారు. పక్కా తెలంగాణ యాసలో మాట్లాడుతూ ప్రేక్షకుల్ని ఎంటర్‌టైన్ చేయడంలో సక్సెస్ అయ్యాడు. ఇక ఈ సినిమాలో అక్కాచెల్లెల్లుగా చేసిన తమన్నా, మెహ్రీన్‌లకు ఇన్నాళ్లకు మంచి ఫ్యామిలీ ఎంటర్‌టైనర్ మూవీ పడింది. ఇగో సిస్టర్స్‌గా హారిక, హనీ పాత్రల్లో ఇమిడిపోయారు. ఇక టెక్నికల్ పరంగా.. దేవి శ్రీ ప్రసాద్ అందించిన పాటలు పర్వాలేదనిపిస్తాయి. సమీర్ రెడ్డి సినిమాటోగ్రఫీ బావుంది.

విమర్శలపై పూర్తి ఫ్రస్ట్రేషన్లో ఉన్న మూవీ లవర్స్‌కి ఈ ‘F2’ చిత్రం ఫుల్ ఫన్ అండ్ రిలీఫ్ ఇస్తుంది. ఫ్యామిలీతో కలిసి ఈ హాస్యపు విందును ఎంచక్కా ఎంజాయ్ చేయొచ్చు.
