When a high-ranking police officer is killed by his alleged rape victim, Sub-inspector Vikram Vasudev is entrusted with investigating what seems like an open-and-shut case. However, as he delves deeper, Vikram finds the case spiralling into a dark tale filled with unexpected surprises.

divi Sesh is a decent actor who helps the narrative in that he doesn’t let it down. He does enough to keep things alright, and the rest is taken care of by the story and screenplay whichever element is stronger. Those are key to his success, much more than his acting and the same continues to hold true for Evaru as well.

However, there is one difference. While Kshanam and Goodachari had a kinetic energy that propelled their narratives forward at breakneck speed, Evaru is designed to evoke a similar feeling. This is a film which pushes you to keep up with the pace of the action, drama, and the conversations between the lead characters, because the devil lies in the details.
